The invention discloses a light conversion master batch which is characterized by comprising a red light conversion agent and an organic matter carrier, wherein the weight of the red light conversion agent is 0.1-80% of the weight of the master batch; and a composition general formula of the red light conversion agent is Cal-xMxS:TM, wherein the x is less than 1 and is larger than or equal to 0, the M is one kind or more kinds of Mg, Ba, Sr, Zn, Cd, and Hg, and the TM is one kind or more kinds of Sm, Ce, Y, Gd, La, Pr, Eu, Cu, and Mn. The red light conversion agent can not only convert sunlight into waves with the wavelength of 380-480nm and with the wavelength of 640-680nm, needed by plant photosynthesis, but also absorb ultraviolet light of 220-380nm and green yellow light of 480-620nm which are harmful to plants. The red light conversion agent is manufactured into the master batch at first and then is used for manufacturing a film, pre-dispersion can be carried out on the red light conversion agent, and dispersity of the red light conversion agent in a film base body is improved. Dust pollution in field operation is reduced. The fact that the red light conversion agent is firstly manufactured into the master batch and then manufactured into the film has the advantages of being good in dispersion, simple in field operation, and high in stability.
