The invention provides a method for increasing a
cropping index while improving tomato breeding
field soil. The method comprises the steps that in a
solar greenhouse, a matrix is placed in a
seedling disc, tomatoes are sown, and the
seedling disc is covered with the matrix and a
plastic film sequentially after
sowing; after 80 percent of seed leaves come up, the
plastic film is removed, and tomato seedlings continue to be cultivated; after the tomato seedlings grow with two leaves and one core, flat furrows are arranged outside the
solar greenhouse in the east and west direction, the tomato seedlings are transplanted to the flat furrows, and the flat furrows are provided with an arch shed covered with double
layers of plastic films; after the tomato seedlings grow with the
plant height
ranging from 20 cm to 30 cm, the tomato seedlings are planted to a plurality of cultivation furrows, two ears of inflorescences are reserved for each tomato
seedling, and cultivation continues after pinching, wherein the distance between every two adjacent cultivation furrows ranges from 35 cm to 45 cm; after the tomato seedlings bloom and bear fruit, corns are interplanted between the cultivation furrows. According to the method, the
cropping index can be increased, the
land utilization efficiency can be improved, and the soil is improved.
