runway. The testing device comprises a base frame, a radial loading mechanism, a driving mechanism, aircraft tires, a disc
torque sensor, a working platform, a
temperature control mechanism and a speed displacement sensor, the radial loading mechanism, the driving mechanism, the aircraft tires and the disc
torque sensor are installed on the base frame, and the working platform, the
temperature control mechanism and the speed displacement sensor are located below the base frame. The testing device has the advantages that friction characteristics of a polluted
runway when an
airplane slides on the
runway under different loads, different speeds and different
pollutant states can be simulated, so that a friction mechanism at an
airplane wheel-different
pollutant interface is revealed, and the available friction level at the
airplane wheel-different
pollutant interface under different operation parameters is obtained. The
friction coefficient and the
slip rate between the aircraft tires and the runway are measured, and the friction characteristics of the runway are summarized, the measurement condition is flexible and high in
controllability, the measurement efficiency is high, and the comparison is facilitated, so that the accuracy of the measurement result can be improved.
