The present invention relates to a netpen for breeding, storage, or transport of fish in the sea, in particular completely or in part in open sea regions outside the skerries, wherein the netpen may be lowered in the sea to a desired depth when needed, wherein the netpen may be elevated to a half or approximately half submerged state for various work operations, such as maintenance and inspection of the netpen or harvesting, and wherein netpen has a substantially spherical geometry. The invention is characterized in that the netpen consists of a framework of stays (1, 2, 3, 4) mainly comprising polyethylene or polyethylene-like materials, such as PolyEthylene Low Density (PELD) or PolyEthylene High Density (PEHD), preferably PEHD, a horizontal through center pole (5) also serving as a buoyancy adjusting element for elevation and lowering of the netpen, a horseshoe-shaped working platform (6) having an integrated dock (7) for working vessels, the entire working platform including dock being liftable and lowerable through buoyancy adjustment by means of a designated element (13), and the working deck being mounted on an extended axle (15) on the center pole in such a manner that the netpen may be rotated inside said working deck. On said axle, through lines (8), there are also attached buoys (10) that gives the netpen sufficient reserve buoyancy in normal position as well as weighting organs (9) that, when the netpen is to be stabilized fully submerged at a desired depth, is landed on the sea floor; alternatively, the netpen is stabilized at the desired depth due to the reserve buoyancy in the floatation unit (30) and the floatation element (23), as shown in FIG. 30. Life-supporting functions, such as fodder, energy, and air, are being supplied to the netpen through a lifeline from a nearby floatation unit (30), preferably a platform being an integrated part of the anchoring for the netpen.

The pumping assembly has a tubular outer housing that is at least partially embedded in the seafloor. A tubular primary housing locates in the outer housing and has a lower end with a receptacle. An annular space surrounds the primary housing within the outer housing for delivering fluid to a receptacle at the lower end of the primary housing. A capsule is lowered in and retrieved from the primary housing. The capsule sealingly engages the receptacle for receiving well fluid from the annular space. A submersible pump is located inside the capsule. The pump has an intake that receives well fluid and a discharge that discharges the well fluid exterior of this capsule. The capsule has a valve in its inlet that when closed prevents leakage of well fluid from the capsule. The capsule may be retrieved through open sea without a riser.

When ships on the open seas burn cheap low grade heavy bunker oils high in sulfur, nitrogen and metals, the SOx, NOx, and metal oxides go to the environment. This invention converts essentially all of each barrel of crude feed to a single ultraclean fuel versus conventional refining where crude feed is cut into many pieces, and each piece is sent down a separate market path meeting various different product specifications. When in port, ships can use these fuels to generate and sell electricity to land based electrical grids to offset fuel cost in an environment-friendly manner.

This system filters undesirable elements from seawater including garbage, debris, volatile organics and biologics such as toxic algaes. The resulting filtered seawater is then pumped to a desalination plant for de-salting. This system comprises a subterranean reservoir installed at a sheltered location, such as behind a set of dunes. A borehole is created by directional drilling, the borehole breaking through the surf line and into open ocean. A pipe is laid extending from the reservoir out to the open ocean. The pipe ends in an intake, which is overlapped by gravel packets which act as filtration media. The intake receives water filtered through the gravel packets, which is transported through the pipe to the reservoir.

A system is provided for transferring fluids such as liquefied natural gas between a floating transport vessel and a floating storage vessel utilizing a transfer vessel to deploy, operate and return a fluid conduit to the storage vessel. The fluid is transferred through at least one submerged-subsea catenary flexible conduit, at least one floating flexible conduit, or any combination thereof. A transfer vessel, including a releasable mooring system, is provided for deploying the conduit from the storage vessel to the transport vessel, mooring with a transport vessel, maintaining a unified connection during fluid transfer, releasing the mooring once fluid transfer is completed, returning to and parking on the storage vessel, and storing the conduit between fluid transfers. The existing coastal breakwaters, embankment, revetments, etc. are constructed to pacify the sea areas. The present invention provides a novel floating and renewable energy-powered desalination vessel, which also functions as a wind turbine generator and wave energy generator platform. With energy derived from the wind and waves, the vessel performs reverse osmosis within a vertically positioned cylindrical section extending below a buoyancy chamber. The electric power generated is utilized internally to produce desalinated water or hydrogen from the desalinated water's electrolysis, power an onboard data center, or power delivery to a shoreside power grid. Alternatively, the desalination vessel operates with the assistance of shore-based power provided by cable.

During auxiliary heating, the inside of a dryer is pumped to reach different levels of vacuum degrees by a vacuum set, water and diesel in the oilfield drilling cuttings are sequentially vaporized by staged vacuuming, vapor is liquefied by a condenser, the water containing a small amount of oil is recovered to a water storage tank, the diesel containing a small amount of water is recovered to an oil storage tank for reserve, the drilling cuttings are discharged after dried, and a heating system is automatically started or stopped as needed. By the aid of the drying treatment process and the drying treatment device, the oil-based drilling cuttings can be dried to such a degree that the water content is lower than 0.1% and the oil content is lower than 0.3%, and the drilling cuttings can be maximally reduced and directly discharged. The treatment device can respectively recover the diesel and the water by the aid of the same condenser under a staged vacuum condition, a huge fractionating tower is omitted, and the device is compact in structure, simple and convenient to operate, high in drilling cuttings treatment efficiency, fine in environmental performance and suitable for harmless treatment of the oil-based drilling cuttings on an open sea or deep sea drilling platform.
