The invention discloses a vehicle particle emission measuring device which comprises a particle concentration tester and a data recording and processing module. A tail pipe is sequentially connected with a sampling probe and a sampling dilutor before being communicated with the particle concentration tester, thereby forming a gas flux channel. The sampling dilutor is connected with a diluting control device. The particle concentration tester is connected with a vacuum pump. A pressure sensor and an exhaust flow-meter are arranged in the tail pipe respectively. The pressure sensor, the exhaust flow-meter and the particle concentration tester transmit signals to a data recording and processing module respectively. The invention also discloses a method employing the mentioned measuring devices for vehicle particle emission measurement. A system for obtaining emission flux of a gas plume, emanating from a source, includes an airborne differential absorption lidar (DIAL) system for determining multiple concentration path length (CPL) values along a flight path; and an airborne wind measuring system (WMS) for determining a wind vector at the aircraft altitude. Also included is a processor for receiving the multiple CPL values determined by the DIAL system and the wind vector determined by the WMS. The processor uses the CPL values to compute either (a) an area-integrated concentration (AIC) value or (b) an average concentration value over a cross-plume extent, defined along the length dimension of the flight path. The processor also scales the wind vector to the near ground altitude level of the gas plume to obtain a scaled wind vector. The emission flux is obtained by multiplying either the AIC value or the average concentration value with a component of the scaled wind vector. The component of the scaled wind vector is defined by a vector perpendicular to the length dimension of the flight path.

An average fundamental wave amplitude is used for setting the expected gas flux density, and a mathematic model of the expected gas flux density is set up; average fundamental wave amplitudes on different levels are used for calculating the expected flux density overall average fundamental wave amplitude in an effective magnetic field space height range, and a gas flux density harmonic model is used for calculating the average relative mean square error of the practical flux density and the expected gas flux density; the magnetic steel parameter is determined based on the principle that the expected flux density overall average fundamental wave amplitude should be as large as possible, and the average relative mean square error of the practical flux density should be as small as possible, an optimizing result can effectively restrain higher harmonics, and especially, second harmonics are restrained greatly.

Highly microporous thermoplastic/bismaleimide semi-interpenetrating polymer network

In order to synthesize semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (semi-IPNs) with molecular sieve characteristics, polyetherimide / bismaleimide (PEI / BMI) chromophore composites were made through sol-gel technique. A tunable and compatible chemical structure with fine morphology was obtained through in situ controlled sol-gel polymerization, crosslinking, chemical modification and membrane fabrication. The novel semi-IPN, synthesized and assembled by using ethanol as polar protic modifier and pore former, had a superior structure and morphology suitable for making gas separation membranes. These semi-IPN membranes gave fifteen times higher gas flux without significant decrease in their gas permselectivity than membranes prepared from pure PEL The chemical structures of these novel semi-IPNs were characterized by using FTIR, XPS and SEM. It was discovered for the first time that in situ simultaneous ethoxylation, anionic polymerization of BMI and imide modifications were responsible for creating the new chemical structure and molecular morphology that was different from traditional BMI resins. In addition to the superior structure, this chemical processes have the advantages of using simple green chemistry, ambient temperature and does not require initiators for polymerization.
