148 results about "AMINO BASE" patented technology

Compounds such as amino acids that can act as either an acid or a base are called amphoteric. The basic amino group typically has a pKa between 9 and 10, while the acidic α-carboxyl group has a pKa that is usually close to 2 (a very low value for carboxyls).

Cloning and function expression method of adversity stress AhMYBL6 gene in peanut

The invention relates to a cloning and function expression method of an adversity stress AhMYBL6 gene in peanut. The adversity stress AhMYBL6 gene is synthesized by RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) cloning by the steps of preparation and treatment of materials, extraction of RNA (ribonucleic acid) and synthesis of cDNA (complementary deoxyribonucleic acid). The open reading frame of the gene is 861bp, and 287 amino acids are coded totally. The homology of the amino acid sequence of the gene with the MYb family proteins GmMYB4, GmMYB29 and GmMYB29A2 of the soybean is higher than 60%. The fluorescent quantitative PCR verifies the expression patterns of the AhMYBL6 under low temperature, salt stress and drought stress; the result indicates that the expression levels of the AhMYBL6 are obviously enhanced after various stress treatment for 1 hour, and kept at high levels all the time thereafter; and the expression level of the AhMYBL6 in the leaf subjected to low-temperature treatment is maximally enhanced by 20 times. After the gene is transferred into peanut by transgenic means, compared with the control, the transgenic plant has obvious characteristics of cold tolerance, salt tolerance and drought tolerance. The AhMYBL6 gene can obviously enhance the stress tolerance of the peanut.

The present invention relates to fungal Δ12 desaturases (responsible for conversion of oleic acid to linoleic acid (18:2, LA)) and Δ15 fatty acid desaturases (responsible for conversion of LA to α-linolenic acid (18:3, ALA)). Amino acid motifs diagnostic of Δ12 desaturases and Δ15 desaturases are also provided. Methods of altering enzyme specificity towards Δ12 desaturation or towards Δ15 desaturation and / or increasing production of specific ω-3 and ω-6 fatty acids by over-expression of the fungal desaturases are also described.

Cationic polyamino acid group carrier material and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a cationic polyamino acid group carrier material and a preparation method thereof. according to the preparation method, a random copolymer of aspartic acid benzyl ester and histidine is prepared through ring opening polymerization of N-carboxyl-alpha-amino anhydride, and an aminolysis reaction is carried out on an aspartic acid side chain, so as to synthesize the cationic polyamino acid group carrier material. A gel permeation chromatography result shows that the molecular weight of the polymer can be effectively controlled through controlling inventory of an initiator; under different aminolysis proportions, the polymers are different in solubility and transform from hydrophobic property to hydrophilic property; in-vitro gene transfection experiment result shows that polymers P (HIS-(i) co( / i)-ASP (DET)) with aminolysis proportion ranging from 10% to 95% have gene transfection efficiency, and a polymer with the maximum transfection efficiency can be screened out through changing the mass ratio of material to gene; the polymers P (HIS-(i) co( / i)-ASP (DET), compared to a homopolymerized aspartic acid polymer, are obviously low in cytotoxicity; and the obtained polymer is a gene carrier material which is low in toxicity, high in efficiency, excellent in biocompatibility and biodegradable.
