Methane absorbed by shale with a quite high
total organic carbon content is obviously higher than
methane absorbed by shale with a quite low
total organic carbon content, and the organic carbon content is more than 2%; the heat maturity of
kerogen also affects the amount of
natural gas which can be absorbed on the surface of an organic substance in the shale, the absorption gas amount of a
shale gas is gradually increased, and the maturity of an
organic matter is between 1.4% to 3%; gas-containing shale is taken as a fine-granule compact sandstone reservoir layer, the increase of a
carbonate content reduces the geological reserve of the
shale gas, and siliceous-rich shale can play a better role than clay-rich shale in manual fracturing; and the shale net thickness of a shale gas exploration and
production area is 9 to 91m. According to the evaluation method provided by the invention, through integrated evaluation of evaluation parameters, a shale gas reservoir area can be accurately determined, and accurate reference data is provided for exploitation of the shale gas.
