The invention provides a process method for refining aluminum
alloy solidified structure, and belongs to the field of solidification technology. The invention aims at the problem of coarse
microstructure of
aluminium alloy castings, an
aluminium alloy casting is prepared by using an
in situ reaction generated TiC particle permanent mold
casting method,
aluminium alloy solidified structure is refined, and the purpose for improving performance of castings is realized. The concrete method is as follows: (1)
aluminium alloy which is prepared from specific components is placed in a
crucible electric resistance furnace, the electric resistance furnace is heated to 1100-1150 DEG C, and alloy is totally melted to a certain degree of superheat; (2) after each component of
molten metal is uniformized, powdered carbon is firstly added into the molten melt with uniform stirring,
titanium powder is added, and the power is reacted in the
molten metal and TiC particles are generated; (3) after the reaction is sufficiently carried out and
diffusion is uniform, heating is stopped, and the
molten metal is cooled in furnace to a
casting temperature 710-730 DEG C, and refining is carried out; (4) the molten
aluminium alloy metal is poured into a
metal casting mold, and after natural cooling, the casting is taken out. The
aluminium alloy casting has refined solidified structure and improved casting performance, and application fields of aluminium alloy castings are extended.
