Method and system for digital rendering over a network

Digital rendering over a network is described. Rendering resources associated with a project are stored in a project resource pool at a rendering service site, and for each rendering request received from a client site the project resource pool is compared to current rendering resources at the client site. A given rendering resource is uploaded from the client site to the rendering service only if the project resource pool does not contain the current version, thereby conserving bandwidth. In one embodiment, redundant generation of raw rendering resource files is avoided by only generating those raw rendering resource files not mated with generated rendering resource files. Reducing redundant generation of raw resources is also described, as well as statistically reducing the number of raw resource files required to be uploaded to the rendering service for multi-frame sessions.

A mobile terminal for use with a cellular or mobile telecommunications network includes a normal execution environment (operating system) (30) and a secure execution environment (32) comprising a Mobile Trusted Module (MTM). The mobile terminal enables the software of the terminal in the secure execution environment (32) to be updated. The terminal 1 may be provided with minimal software initially in the secure execution environment (32), and is operable to subsequently update the software by over the air transmission of software. Also disclosed is a method for managing rights in respect of broadcast, multicast and/or unicast (downloaded) data, relevant in particular to managing access to a broadcast video data stream complying with a mobile digital broadcast scheme. The method defines a service protection platform implemented on mobile terminals having both normal execution environment (i.e. the operating system) and secure execution environment. Service protection is provided by separating the operation of service protection application components into those that operate in the normal environment and those that are adapted to execute only in the secure execution environment. Making the secure execution environment application component interchangeable allows the method to be adapted to any of a number of service protection protocols or “profiles” by downloading only the secure execution environment application component.

The invention discloses a bimetallic-organic-framework-based derived porous carbon / multi-wall carbon nanotube nano composite absorbing material and a preparation method thereof. On the basis of a hightemperature pyrolysis method, the porous carbon / multi-wall carbon nanotube nano composite material is prepared by using a multi-wall carbon nano tube as a carrier, cobaltous nitrate hexahydrate and zinc nitrate hexahydrate as metal salt precursors, 2-methylimidazole as an organic ligand, and methanol and ethanol as mixed solvents. The preparation method has good green and environment-friendly effects; no hazardous by products are generated; and the preparation process is simple. The prepared nano composite material has advantages of high electromagnetic wave absorption capacity, large absorption frequency bandwidth and low density. Electromagnetic wave with different wavebands can be absorbed effectively by adjusting the additive amount of the multi-wall carbon nano tube and the coating thickness. The bimetallic-organic-framework-based derived porous carbon / multi-wall carbon nanotube nano composite absorbing material and the preparation method thereof have the great application valuein the electromagnetic absorption and electromagnetic shielding fields.

Broadcast bridge apparatus for transferring data to redundant memory subsystems in a storage controller

A bus bridge apparatus for performing broadcasted writes to redundant memory subsystems in a network storage controller is disclosed. The bus bridge includes a PCI-X target that receives a write command on a first PCI-X bus on one side of the bridge. The target is coupled to two PCI-X masters coupled to primary and secondary memory subsystems by respective PCI-X buses on the other side of the bridge. A first FIFO buffers the write command data between the target and the first master, and a second FIFO buffers a copy of the data between the target and the second master. The first and second masters concurrently retransmit the write command on their respective PCI-X buses to the primary and secondary memory subsystems. However, the second master only retransmits if broadcasting is enabled and the write command address is in a broadcast address range known by the bus bridge.

The device is symmetrically affixed with a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic sheets on the front and back surfaces of a fixed end of the flexible plate, the polarities of the two surfaces of a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic sheets are reverse, then a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic sheets are connected in parallel to compose a bending mode piezoelectric driver; the two surfaces of the longitudinal middle part of a free end of the flexible plate are anti-symmetrically affixed with a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic sheets, the polarities of the two surfaces of the piezoelectric ceramic sheets are same, then the piezoelectric ceramic sheets are connected in parallel to compose a torsional mode driver, an accelerometer A and an accelerometer B are respectively arranged at the two side angle positions of the free end of the flexible plate; the device has small weight and less wiring, which only needs the two accelerometers to be used as the sensors of the flexible cantilever plate. The method utilizes the optimized configuration of the two accelerometers and the piezoelectric driver to realize the decoupling on the detection and the driving control of the bending mode and the torsional mode of the flexible cantilever plate, thus realizing the purpose of active inhibition of multi-bending and multi-torsinal mode vibration of the flexible plate.
