The invention, which relates to the communication technology field, more particularly discloses a double-frequency
broadband ripple horn feed antenna that comprises an input
circular waveguide, a variable module section, and a radiant section. The input
circular waveguide is connected to the variable module section that is connected to the radiant section. Besides, the antenna is characterized in that: the input
circular waveguide is an over mode transmission
waveguide; the variable module section and the radiant section are in a circular
waveguide ripple structure; the variable module section is formed by a plurality of single groove deep transfer period
ripple structures and the inner wall is in a gradually expanded horn shape; calibers of all the ripple structures are different; and the radiant section is formed by a plurality of periodical ripple structures, wherein calibers of periodical ripple structures are gradually expanded in a linear mode; and a gradually expanded angle of the inner wall of the radiant section is greater than that of the variable module section. According to the invention, the antenna has a simple and compact structure; and antenna technical indexes including
equalization of dual-band E surface and H surface directional diagrams, a dual-band edge illumination level,
broadband multi-mode transmission, and dual-band
phase center sharing and the like are realized; besides, the antenna has advantages of compact structure, small volume, light weight, low cost, easy
processing, high efficiency and good environmental adaptability and the like.
