The invention relates to a
plant remediation technology for a soil polluted by heavy
metal of
cadmium, and discloses a method for remediation for soil polluted by
cadmium by utilizing
eucalyptus grandis of Myrtaceidites. In the technology, the
eucalyptus grandis is planted in the soil polluted by heavy
metal of
cadmium, and the accumulated heavy
metal of cadmium is absorbed by virtue of the enrichment characteristic of the plants of the
eucalyptus grandis on the cadmium, and most of the cadmium is transported to the overground parts of the plants; and litters such as fallen leaves, fallen branches and fallen barks of the eucalyptus grandis are collected in late autumn every year, and the eucalyptus grandis is
cut after being planted for three years, an
ashing treatment is performed, and the
heavy metals are extracted, so as to achieve a purpose of remediation for the soil polluted by the cadmium. The eucalyptus grandis is rapid in growth, high in
biomass, and capable of holding and absorbing
heavy metals, remaining stumps to
branch out, performing continuous remediation for the soil polluted by cadmium, raising the
virescence level of the districts polluted by
heavy metals, and creating environmental benefits. The saplings of the eucalyptus grandis are convenient to obtain, low in price, simple in plantation and management, and convenient for
engineering utilization.
