The invention relates to the field of peak shaving of thermal power generating units, and discloses a peak shaving method of a thermal power
generating unit. The peak shaving method comprises the following steps that firstly, dynamic separators of
coal mills are adjusted, so that the
fineness of the pulverized
coal is less than or equal to the predetermined value of the
fineness of the pulverizedcoal; secondly, a
condensate pump of a steam and water
system is enabled to exit the automatic mode, and the outlet pressure of the
condensate pump is manually adjusted to the first pressure predetermined value; thirdly, primary air systems are adjusted; fourthly, the temperature of
coal mill outlets of the dynamic separators is adjusted to the first predetermined temperature; fifthly, the openingdegree of secondary
windshield plates of secondary air systems is adjusted to the first predetermined range; and sixthly, the load of the thermal power
generating unit is reduced to the predeterminedload according to the predetermined speed, and the predetermined speed is less than or equal to 1.5% of rated load per minute. By the adoption of the peak shaving method of the thermal power
generating unit, the peak shaving capacity of the thermal power generating unit can be remarkably improved.
