Drinking water of medicinal young pigeons comprises components with the following medicine-liquid ratios: 200g of Chinese angelica, 500g of astragalus membranaceus, 250g of white paeony root, 350g of barbary wolfberry fruit, 120g of rhizoma gastrodiae, 240g of garden balsam stem, 200g of safflower, 200g of Chinese gentian root and 200g of liquoric root. By virtue of the arrangement, king pigeons are selected to be bred by using the method provided by the invention, preferably, the king pigeons are in ages of 2-4 weeks, and the net body weight of the king pigeons is 200-450g; and optimal medicinal and food therapy effects of the king pigeons can be achieved.
