The invention discloses a self-adaption switching method for a fast terminal in a
satellite network and belongs to the technical field of the
satellite communication. The method comprises the steps of finding visible satellites, constructing a two-dimensional mobile model, calculating the remaining
service time of the visible satellites one by one, selecting a visible
satellite as a target satellite which has a vacant
channel resource and has the longest remaining
service time, and establishing a
communication link with the new target satellite. The two-dimensional mobile model does not depend on users' historical movement data, and therefore a very large storage space is not needed; the newly provided two-dimensional mobile model is universal, not only is suitable for calculating the remaining
service time of fast terminal users, but also can be used for analyzing the remaining service time of common low-speed users, and self-
adaptation switching demands of two types of users are satisfied; besides, the self-
adaptation switching strategy can not only be applied to a single-layered
satellite network model, but also can be used for a double-layered
satellite network model, and the movement scenes are more universal.
