A set top box (STB) includes a trusted transactional cache and associated transactional protocol and enables e-commerce transactions to be securely committed to a remote server extremely quickly and with little network overhead. The invention does away with the user concern of whether the transaction was successful. The STB operates equally well on robust private networks as on unpredictable Internet or wireless networks, and avoids upsetting users who would otherwise have to wait in front of a display screen for confirmation of completion of the transaction after a temporary communication failure with the central site. A method for fabricating a color filter is disclosed. First, a substrate having a dielectric layer and a passivation thereon is provided. Next, a first pattern transfer process is performed to form a trench in the dielectric layer and the passivation layer, and a color filter is formed in the trench, in which the color filter partially covers the surface of the passivation layer. Next, a chemical mechanical polishing process is performed to planarize the color filter, such that the surface of the color filter is even with the surface of the passivation layer.

Provided are a device and a method of detecting signal lamps in a vehicle, in particular in a large vehicle, being provided with a plurality of signal lamps each being capable of switching between an OFF-phase and an ON-phase. The method includes the steps of during the OFF-phase of a vehicle signal lamp to be probed inducing a probing current by connecting an electric current generator to said vehicle signal lamp circuit, where the probing current is lower than the nominal current for the lamp in question. The next step is to detect the electric voltage level over the lamp circuit and determining vehicle signal lamp characteristics such as type and condition based on said electric voltage level detection. The result of the determination is that the signal lamp is a LED lamp being connected, when the detected voltage level is within a predetermined interval between a first voltage level and a second voltage level.

By using the method, there is no need for artificial participation, the time complexity is relatively low, the result of automatic measurement and the result of manual measurement by experts are highly consistent, and a satisfactory measurement result can be obtained for intima media of different morphological structures. An ultrasonic carotid artery intima media thickness measurement method based on deep learning of the invention comprises the following steps: (1) ROI (Region of Internet) acquisition; automatically identifying the far end of an ultrasonic carotid artery by use of a convolution neural network (CNN), and extracting an ROI; (2) pixel classification: performing more advanced feature extraction, and after feature extraction, building a pattern classifier by use of a stacked auto-encoder and a logistic regression classification layer to complete image pixel classification; and (3) boundary extraction: selecting a classification region based on the area information and location of a target classification region, and performing polynomial curve fitting on the classification boundary. The method is mainly applied in medical image processing.
