The invention relates to a method for managing application programs in an open service gateway service platform and an architecture thereof. In particular, the method for managing a plurality of application programs in the open service gateway service platform comprises the following steps: adding the plurality of application programs to a service list and generating a setting document corresponding to each application program; storing the setting document corresponding to each application program; when the first application program in the plurality of application programs is started, updating a state corresponding to the first application program in the service list; and enabling the setting document corresponding to the first application program. The method for managing the application programs in the open service gateway service platform has the advantages of combining the application programs in the open service gateway service platform, integrating all the application programs in the same administration program, further greatly improving the program modularity and communication capacity, and effectively improving the transplantation capability without independently development of different setting programs.
