The invention discloses a
pyramid-shaped solar photo-thermal
evaporator. The
pyramid-shaped solar photo-thermal
evaporator comprises a heat
insulation layer, a water conveying channel and a
pyramid-shaped photo-thermal
evaporation structure. The pyramid-shaped photo-thermal
evaporation structure comprises four photo-thermal absorption surfaces, and each photo-thermal absorption surface comprises a plurality of divergent
water collection micro-channels extending from the top of a pyramid to the bottom of the pyramid; a
plasmon nano-particle
surface layer, a middle hydrophilic layer and a bottom substrate are sequentially arranged from the
surface layer to the bottom. The water conveying channel is composed of water absorption cotton cores, the water absorption cotton cores are located in parallel hole channels formed in the heat
insulation layer, the lower ends of the water absorption cotton cores extend into the
water body, and the upper ends of the water absorption cotton cores are connected with the photo-thermal absorption
surface water collection micro-channels. According to the pyramid-shaped three-dimensional photo-thermal
evaporation structure, the photo-thermal evaporation area is greatly increased, meanwhile, efficient photo-thermal conversion is achieved through the
plasmon nanoparticles, in addition, rapid and sufficient supply of evaporated water is guaranteed through the
water collection micro-channels and the hydrophilic layer, therefore efficient solar evaporation and
seawater desalination are achieved. The invention further provides a preparation method of the
evaporator.
