The invention discloses a drying technique for electric heating pipes. The drying technique comprises the following steps of: cleaning the assembled electric heating pipes through cleaning liquid and heating and drying the electric heating pipes in a vacuum oven for 6-24 hours at a vacuum degree of minus 0.005MPa to minus 0.1MPa and a temperature of 80-200 DEG C, introducing dry air into the vacuum oven to perform vacuum removal on the pipes, immediately taking out the electric heating pipes when the vacuum oven reaches a positive pressure, gluing, encapsulating and curing the pipe orifices of the electric heating pipes. The drying technique disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the electric heating pipes are dried and heated in a vacuum environment to remove moisture in the pipes, and then the dry air is introduced in the vacuum environment to remove the vacuum of the dried pipes, thereby fully and timely removing the moisture absorbed by such heat conducting stuffing as magnesium oxide powder in the electric heating pipes at a low temperature and within short time, the electric heating pipes are effectively dried further, the product quality and electric property of the electric heating pipes are guaranteed, the heating temperature is reduced, the heating time is shortened, the production energy consumption is reduced, and the production efficiency is improved; and the cooling time before the gluing and encapsulating procedures is shortened, so that the possibility of secondary dampness of the filled heat conducting stuffing is reduced.
