Washing apparatus and method utilizing flexible container to improve cleaning efficiency and minimize space occupancy

An automatic laundry washing machine that is suitable for use in living units having no area set aside for laundry facilities is achieved by replacing the heavy bulky parts of the currently popular automatic washing machine design with a light flexible bag. A large portion of the volume of any washing machine is the vessel for containing the laundry solution and articles to be washed. That vessel is a flexible bag made of modern durable material so as to be collapsible both while in use and for storage. The method of use includes the complete process of washing, rinsing, and extracting excess water in an automatic cycle analogous to standard automatic washing machines popular today. The vessel containing the items being laundered is a waterproof laundry bag with automatic washing apparatus attached. Items are automatically washed in that bag. The automatic process includes cycles of filling, washing, rinsing and extracting such that the clothes are ready for a drying process such as hanging out to dry or putting into a tumble dryer. The agitating of the washing and rinsing cycles is accomplished without the familiar bulky agitator thereby reducing the volume requirements and the traditional wear and tear on the garments. By eliminating the bulky agitator and the spin water extraction method, the heavy transmission is also eliminated. The water extraction cycle is done in a much less violent way than the conventional spin cycle by allowing atmospheric pressure to collapse the washing vessel and press the water from the articles as the water and air are pumped from the vessel in the draining portion of the cycle. The cleaning ability of the water is enhanced by built in ionic processing of the water thereby reducing the required amount of laundry detergent. The agitating in the non-electrically conductive vessel generates static electric charges in the process and ions thus produced further enhance the cleaning ability of the water. Cavitation produced in a multi-frequency washing action further enhances the washing ability of the water. The washing machine is light, compact and collapsible and is as portable as a piece of luggage. The set up procedure is simple and no assembly is required beyond attaching a quick connect fastener to a water faucet and plugging in a power cord. The washing machine is light and takes little storage space. It can be put in a small closet or on a shelf when not in use. The minimum capacity of the washing machine is a single garment. The normal capacity of the washing machine is comparable to that of a standard household washing machine.

A forced air cooling tower includes an upright casing, and elevated water distribution system disposed in an upper portion of the casing and one or more fans for drawing air through the tower. The tower also includes a catch basin for collecting the cooled air and a pump for circulating the cooled water through a condenser and back to the top of the tower and to the water distribution system. The cooling tower also includes a controller and a variable frequency device for regulating the flow of air through the tower. A first temperature sensor senses the temperature T1 of the hot process water delivered to the water distribution system and a second sensor senses the dry bulb temperature of the air leaving the tower Tdbt2. A third sensor senses the temperature of the cooled water leaving the tower. The controller such as a computer and variable frequency drive controls the speed of the fan to minimize the difference in T1 and Tdbt2. A submaster control prevents the fan speed from being further reduced when a predetermined T2 (temperature of the cooled water) is reached.

Positioning selectable flow control valve (10) to the energy saver mode causes, cold water pressure to be interrupted to hot water supply (50) and directed through feedback conduit (72) and conduit (71), to a junction down stream from hot water manifold (3). Supply pressure forces hot water towards open hot water outlet (45), thus all hot water delivered from hot water manifold (3) is utilized.

The invention can be used for testing the performance of the cold accumulation air conditioner system under the working conditions of refrigeration, cold accumulation, cold release and normal cold supply, can test the low temperature air supply characteristics of the cold accumulation air conditioner system, and can test the characteristics of cold accumulation and cold release of an ice ball type or an ice plate type cold accumulation air conditioner system.

Cooling method of heavy and medium plate controlled rolling intermediate blank

The invention belongs to a producing and cooling technique of rolled steel, relating to a cooling method of a heavy and medium plate controlled rolling intermediate blank, which can be realized by both a single-stand heavy and medium plate roll and a double-stand heavy and medium plate roll. The cooling method comprises the following steps of: transmitting a roughly rolled intermediate blank with the thickness range of 30-110 mm in an austenite recrystallization zone into an intermediate controlled cooling zone from a transmission roller way for rapidly cooling to 800-950 DEG C, and then transmitting the intermediate blank into the roll for rolling in a non- recrystallization zone after short-time air cooling and temperature evening. In the intermediate cooling process, an upper collecting pipe and a lower collecting pipe with high density or ultra-high density are adopted to impact, jet and cool the intermediate blank, and specific technological parameters are accurately controlled by a computer. Water is cooling water for the roll with the pressure of 0.3-1.0 MPa in a common water circulating system for workshops. The intermediate cooling holding time is 30-70% shorter than that of the conventional process so that the production efficiency is improved, and due to austenite grain refinement after intermediate controlled cooling, the mechanical properties of a steel plate can be improved.

Novel solar gas-injection refrigerating system

The invention organically combines an application of solar energy, gas and ejector refrigeration, and provides a novel solar energy ejecting refrigeration system. A steam generator, a pump, an inlet of a solar energy collector are orderly connected with an outlet of the solar energy collector through pipes to form a heating water circulating device; an outlet of the steam generator is connected with a working steam inlet of an ejector through a pipe, an evaporator is connected with a refrigerant pipe, an outlet of the evaporator is connected with an ejector steam inlet of the ejector through a pipe, and an outlet of the ejector is connected with the evaporator. The steam generator is also connected with a gas heater controlled by a temperature controller, heating water circulating device is at least provided with one set, if a plurality of heating water circulating devices are provided, the heating water circulating devices and the evaporator can either be connected in serial or connected in parallel. The invention has a wide adaptability, can save enormous energy, thereby reaching a refrigeration effect of sustainable high efficiency.
