Cell load control method and system

A method and system for performing cell load control in a mobile radio network using diversity connections between base stations is described, wherein the efficiency of the resource management in the radio network is improved by transmitting an external message containing a load information of a cell to a radio network controller not serving this cell. The transmission may be performed in response to a corresponding request transmitted by the radio network controller to another radio network controller which serves the corresponding radio cell. When the radio network controller has received the load information of the cell controlled by the other radio network controller, it may use the load information for deciding on a load status of the radio cell. Thereby, the resource management of radio network is more efficient and the load is maintained balanced among different cells, wherein a possible situation of cell congestion and high interference is avoided. Moreover, the active set management efficiency is improved, resulting in a higher connection quality, since the decision algorithm to change the active set is faster and more efficient.

VCDL with linear delay characteristics and differential duty-cycle correction

A voltage-controlled delay line (VCDL) comprises a series of delay cells outputting a clock output signal having a delay relative to a clock input signal input to the series of delay cells. A duty-cycle correction section corrects the duty cycle of the clock output signal by providing opposite current outputs which are fed back to the series of delay cells to substantially simultaneously charge and discharge current of the series of delay cells in opposite directions. A control current input to the series of delay cells controls the amount of the delay. A voltage-to-current converter converts a control voltage into the control current so that the delay changes substantially linearly as the control voltage changes. The method for using the VCDL to produce linear delay is also included. The VCDL can be used in a delay-locked loop (DLL).

Method of selectively directing a mobile station to retry system access in a radio telecommunication system

A method of reducing co-channel interference in a cellular telecommunication system having a congested serving cell, a plurality of neighbor cells controlled by a mobile switching center (MSC), and an accessing mobile station attempting to access the cellular system in the serving cell. The MSC fetches signal strength information from mobile stations camped on the serving cell's digital control channel (DCCH). The signal strength information includes received signal strengths at the camped mobile stations from the serving cell and the neighbor cells. The MSC then fetches signal strength information from busy mobile stations involved in on-going calls in the serving cell. For each busy and camped mobile station, the expected downlink signal strength from each neighbor cell is subtracted from the maximum downlink signal strength from the serving cell. The mobile station / neighbor cell combination with the numerically least difference causes the least co-channel interference when the identified mobile station is moved into the identified neighbor cell. If the identified mobile station is the accessing mobile station, the MSC redirects the accessing mobile station to access the cellular system in the identified neighbor cell. If the identified mobile station is a busy mobile station involved in a call, the MSC forces a handoff of the identified mobile station to the identified neighbor cell.

A power saving method and apparatus for wireless optical mouse is disclosed, the apparatus comprising: a micro control unit (MCU), for controlling the operation of a sensor integrated circuit (IC) of an optical sensor of the wireless optical mouse; a wireless transceiver module, connected to the MCU, for transmitting / receiving electronic signals to / from a corresponding wireless interface of a computer; an oscillation frequency control circuit, for switching the operation frequency of the sensor IC so as to enable the same to be defined by a RC oscillation circuit of the sensor IC while the sensor IC being in a sleep mode, and switching the operation frequency of the sensor IC so as to enable the same to be defined by a crystal oscillation circuit; a light emitting diode (LED) control circuit, for controlling the activation of a LED and thus enabling the motion of the wireless optical mouse to be detected; a sensor cell control circuit, for enabling only one of a plurality sensor cells of a sensor cell array while the sensor IC being in the sleep mode, and enabling every sensor cell of the sensor cell array while the sensor IC being in a working mode; and a mode switch circuit, for controlling the mode the sensor IC to be switched between the sleep mode and the working mode according to the output of the sensor cell control circuit.

The invention provides a sample formed component analyzer automatic detection control apparatus which comprises at least a multichannel processing module which respectively connects with a master control computer through a communication interface. Each multichannel processing module comprises a flow counting cell containing a plurality of channels. Each channel of the flow counting cell comprises an independent input terminal and an independent output terminal. The input terminal connects with a sampling needle through a first input control valve, and the output terminal connects with a sample input pump through a second input control valve. The first input control valve, the second input control valve and the sample input pump are respectively connected with an output terminal of a pump valve control part, and an input terminal of the pump valve part connects with a counting cell control module. According to the control apparatus, through the master control computer, each multichannel processing module is started respectively, and each multichannel processing module is in independent parallel operation; each multichannel processing module starts each channel of the flow counting cell through the counting cell control module, and each channel is in time sharing parallel operation.
