Agent satisfaction data for call routing based on pattern matching alogrithm

Methods and systems are disclosed for routing callers to agents in a contact center with an intelligent routing system. An exemplary method includes routing callers to agents based on a pattern matching algorithm utilizing caller data and agent data, where the agent data includes agent satisfaction data from past agent-caller pairings. The agent satisfaction data may be obtained via surveys of the agents regarding their satisfaction with past agent-caller contacts. The agent satisfaction data may be used by the pattern matching algorithm in an attempt to increase agent satisfaction for future calls, thereby potentially reducing attrition of agents and cost to the call center, increasing morale of the agents, and so on. The agent satisfaction data and output from past agent-caller pairings may be weighted by the contact center against other agent data and caller data for a desired mixing of output variables.

Semiconductor integrated circuit device and method of manufacturing the same

Disclosed herein is a phase change memory semiconductor integrated circuit device using a chalcogenide film that solves a problem that the operation temperature capable of ensuring long time memory retention is low due to low phase change temperature is and, at the same time, a problem that power consumption of the device is high since a large current requires to rewrite memory information due to low resistance. A portion of constituent elements for a chalcogenide comprises nitride, oxide or carbide which are formed to the boundary between the chalcogenide film and a metal plug as an underlying electrode and to the grain boundary of chalcogenide crystals thereby increasing the phase change temperature and high Joule heat can be generated even by a small current by increasing the resistance of the film.

Non-resonant four degrees-of-freedom micromachined gyroscope

A micromachined design and method with inherent disturbance-rejection capabilities is based on increasing the degrees-of-freedom (DOF) of the oscillatory system by the use of two independently oscillating proof masses. Utilizing dynamical amplification in the 4-degrees-of-freedom system, inherent disturbance rejection is achieved, providing reduced sensitivity to structural and thermal parameter fluctuations and damping changes over the operating time of the device. In the proposed system, the first mass is forced to oscillate in the drive direction, and the response of the second mass in the orthogonal direction is sensed. The response has two resonant peaks and a flat region between peaks. Operation is in the flat region, where the gain is insensitive to frequency fluctuations. An over 15 times increase in the bandwidth of the system is achieved due to the use of the proposed architecture. In addition, the gain in the operation region has low sensitivity to damping changes. Consequently, by utilizing the disturbance-rejection capability of the dynamical system, improved robustness is achieved, which can relax tight fabrication tolerances and packaging requirements and thus result in reducing production cost of micromachined methods.

Data read device, read method and circuit controlling read device

An HDC asserts the read gate of an RDC when a read head is positioned in a sector located before a sector that a hot system instructs to read data when seen from the rotation direction of a storage medium. The data that the read head has read from the sector is used to adapt a circuit that constitutes the RDC. However, the data is not transferred to the host system. Such a process is repeated until the read head reaches a position where data stored in a sector whose data has been instructed to read can be read. In this way, time needed to adapt a circuit that constitutes a read channel can be shortened.
