The present invention relates to a system for managing the heat from a heat source like an electronic component. More particularly, the present invention relates to a system effective for dissipating the heat generated by an electronic component using a thermal management system that includes a thermal interface formed from a flexible graphite sheet and/or a heat sink formed from a graphite article.

The system also includes a manifold and a plurality of cooling tubes connected to the manifold. A tube seal plug is arranged over an end of the cooling tube and an end fitting is arranged on an end of the cooling tube. A thermal energy management system is provided having a heat spreading device that is operatively engaged with at least one semiconductor chip and a thermal bus operatively engaged with the heat spreading device so as to transport thermal energy from the heat spreading device to a heat sink. The invention discloses a power battery charging and heating system and method of a pure electric vehicle. The charging and heating system comprises a whole vehicle control unit, a vehicle-mounted charger, a charging pile, a battery managing system, a power battery, a DC/DC converter, a heat managing system, a PTC heater and a 12V storage battery for electrifying the charging and heating system at low pressure. The charging and heating method includes the steps that when charging is performed, if the temperature T of the power battery is smaller than or equal to the criticality of the lowest temperature which is preset, the vehicle-mounted charger provides electric energy for the PTC heater, and low-temperature heating is performed. If the temperature T of the power battery is larger than the criticality of the lowest temperature T which is preset, the power battery quits from low-temperature heating and is in a normal charging mode. The power battery charging and heating system and method of the pure electric vehicle can shorten the low-temperature heating time, ensure normal charging of the power battery and meanwhile does not affect the service life of the power battery.

Lighting systems having unique configurations are provided.
