The invention relates to a method for detecting the roundness and the
sphericity of an inner sphere of an outer ring of a
knuckle bearing. The method comprises the following steps that (1), different sections of the inner sphere of the outer ring of the
knuckle bearing are selected; (2), two pairs of measurement sensors which are perpendicular to each other and are located on the same plane are adopted to measure the
diameter of each section for many times; (3), the
diameter data obtained by measuring the same section for many times are averaged, the measurement values and the average value are compared and analyzed, and the roundness of the sections of the inner sphere of the outer ring is judged according to the error; (4), according to the
diameter data of the different sections, a
radian is calculated, an average value is obtained, the
radian values and the average value are compared and analyzed, and the
sphericity of the inner sphere of the outer ring is judged according to the error; (5), the percent of pass of the
knuckle bearing is determined; (6), the error is analyzed. The method for detecting the roundness and the
sphericity of the inner sphere of the outer ring of the knuckle bearing has the advantages that non-contact measurement is achieved, and the surface of the knuckle bearing is not damaged; the application range is wide, operation is easy, and the safety is high; the detection precision and efficiency are high, and development value is achieved.
