A capacitor memory is realized, wherein a capacitor stores data and a diode controls to store data “1” or “0”. Diode has four terminals wherein first terminal serves as word line, second terminal serves as storage node, third terminal is floating, and fourth terminal serves as bit line, wherein back channel effect is suppressed adding additional ions in the bottom side of third terminal or applying negative voltage in the well or substrate. A capacitor plate couples to second terminal, which plate has no coupling region to first, third and fourth terminal. With no coupling, the inversion layer of plate in the storage node is isolated from the adjacent nodes. In doing so, the plate can swing ground level to positive supply level to write. As a result, no negative generator is required for controlling plate. Word line and bit line keep ground level during standby, and rise to supply level for read or write operation. In this manner, no holding current is required during standby, and operating current is dramatically reduced with no negative generator. Write has a sequence to clear the state of cell before writing to store data regardless of previous state. Refresh cycle is periodically asserted to sustain data. The present invention can be applied for destructive read, or for nondestructive read adding pull-down device to bit line. The height of cell is almost same as control circuit on the bulk or SOI wafer.

Provided are methods and devices for transfer printing of semiconductor elements to a receiving surface. In an aspect, the printing is by conformal contact between an elastomeric stamp inked with the semiconductor elements and a receiving surface, and during stamp removal, a shear offset is applied between the stamp and the receiving surface. The shear-offset printing process achieves high printing transfer yields with good placement accuracy. Process parameter selection during transfer printing, including time varying stamp-backing pressure application and vertical displacement, yields substantially constant delamination rates with attendant transfer printing improvement.

System and method for data synchronization for a computer architecture for broadband networks

A computer architecture and programming model for high speed processing over broadband networks are provided. The architecture employs a consistent modular structure, a common computing module and uniform software cells. The time budget provides a time period for the completion of tasks by selected processing devices independent of clock frequencies employed by the processing devices for processing the tasks.

Programmable routing structures providing shorter timing delays for input/output signals

Techniques are provided for routing signals to and from input / output pads on a programmable chip that reduce signal delay times. A programmable routing structure is provided that is dedicated to routing signals to and from the input / output (I / O) pads. The programmable routing structure can include long conductors that transmit signals across the chip quickly without the delay encountered in shorter routing conductors. Signals can be routed to and from the I / O pads through vertical and horizontal dedicated routing conductors that bypass global routing conductors. The dedicated I / O routing structure allows signals to be driven onto the chip and off chip more quickly can be achieved through standard programmable routing structures. The dedicated I / O routing structure can be depopulated to reduce the number of programmable connections between the individual conductors, decreasing die area requirements.

The present invention is related to carbon materials having 2-20 nm of mesopore and high porosity, carbon / metal oxide composites which are prepared with said material and wherein metal oxides are deposited in the pores, electrical double-layer capacitors prepared with said carbon material, and electrochemical capacitors prepared with said carbon / metal oxide composite. When the mesoporous carbon is used as an electrode material of electrical double-layer capacitors, in spite of low capacitance value per weight for low surface area, said electrical double-layer capacitor has higher charge storage volume than the previous ones due to low equivalent series resistance. Furthermore, when said carbon / metal oxide composite is used as an electrode material of electrical double-layer capacitor, the capacitor has high capacitance value per unit weight, i.e., 254 F / g, by combining the electrical double-layer capacitor with the pseudo capacitor from the metal oxide.
