The invention discloses a method for ultrasonically and synchronously measuring
axial force and shearing force of a bolt. The method comprises the steps of 1, adhering piezoelectric wafers to two endsurfaces of a bolt to be measured; 2, calibrating an axial stress coefficient Kx and a
radial stress coefficient Ky of the bolt; 3, obtaining the difference [
delta]t1 which is equal to t1-t0x betweenthe time t1 in the service state and the time t0x in the axial zero stress; 4, calculating an
axial force F1 which is equal to Kx*[
delta] t1 according to the axial stress coefficient Kx; 5, obtainingthe difference [
delta]t' which is equal to t'-t0 between the time t' under the service state and the time t0 under the zero stress; 6, obtaining the sound
time difference [delta]t2 which is equal to [delta]t'-[delta]t1=(t'-t0)-(t1-t0x) caused by the shearing force of the bolt in the service state; and 7, according to the
radial stress coefficient Ky, calculating the shearing force F2 which is equal to Ky*[delta]t2. By setting excitation and receiving directions and positions of different piezoelectric wafers, the
axial force and the shearing force of the bolt to be measured in the service state are measured respectively, and the
measurement precision of the bolt stress is improved; and the axial force and the shearing force can be measured simultaneously.
