Under layer film-forming composition for imprints and method for forming pattern

Provided is a composition for forming underlying layer for imprints, which is excellent in surface flatness and adhesiveness. The composition for forming underlying layer for imprints comprises (A) a resin having an ethylenic unsaturated group (P), and a cyclic ether group (T) selected from oxiranyl group and oxetanyl group, and having a weight-average molecular weight of 1000 or larger; and, (B) a solvent.

Terminating Bromination of Styrenic Polymer in a Bromination Reaction Mixture

A brominated styrenic polymer reaction mixture containing at least (i) brominated styrenic polymer, (ii) bromination reaction solvent, (iii) hydrogen bromide, and (iv) Lewis acid bromination catalyst, and an aqueous medium in an amount sufficient to deactivate the Lewis acid catalyst but insufficient to form a separate continuous liquid phase in the resultant mixture are mixed together to terminate bromination. The advantages of using such small amounts of aqueous medium, as well as various follow on procedures are described.

FCC reactor

A fluid catalytic reactor vessel having at its upper end a single centrally positioned primary cyclone having a gas-solids inlet fluidly connected to the downstream end of a fluid catalytic riser, which riser is positioned externally from a fluid catalytic reactor vessel. The primary cyclone is further provided with a gas outlet conduit at its upper end fluidly connected to one or more secondary cyclone separators, which secondary cyclone separators are positioned in the space between the centrally positioned primary cyclone and the wall of the reactor vessel and which secondary cyclones have means to discharge solids to the lower end of the reactor vessel and means to discharge a gaseous stream poor in solids to a gas outlet of the reactor vessel. The primary cyclone is further provided with a primary stripping zone at its lower end and means to discharge pre-stripped solids from the primary cyclone to the lower end of the reactor vessel. The reactor vessel further comprises at the lower end of reactor vessel a secondary stripping zone is and means to discharge stripped solids from the reactor vessel.

Downforce feedback systems and control logic for active aerodynamic devices of motor vehicles

Disclosed are downforce feedback systems for active aerodynamic devices, methods for making / using such systems, and vehicles equipped with a closed-loop downforce feedback system to govern operation of the vehicle's active aero device(s). A feedback control system for operating an active aerodynamic device of a motor vehicle includes one or more pressure sensors for detecting fluid pressures in one or more pneumatic or hydraulic actuators for moving the active aero device. A vehicle controller receives fluid pressure signals from these sensor(s), and calculates an actual downforce value from these signal(s). The controller retrieves a calibrated downforce value from mapped vehicle downforce data stored in memory, and determines if the actual downforce value differs from the calibrated value. If so, the controller determines a target position for a target downforce value for a current vehicle operating condition, and commands the actuator(s) to move the active aero device to the target position.

A seal ring including filters is mounted to a rolling bearing. The bearing includes rolling elements disposed between an outer race and an inner race. The seal ring is made of a resin or a metal and covers an end opening of the bearing space defined between the outer race and the inner race. The filters are detachably fitted in oil flow holes formed in the seal ring. The filters catch foreign matter contained in lubricating oil. The seal ring is engaged by one of the outer race and the inner race. An annular member made of a material softer than the seal ring is fixed to the seal ring. The annular member serves as a lip facing the other of the inner and outer races with a gap left therebetween, or in abutment with the other of the inner and outer races.

Gas Turbine Combustor, and Gas Turbine

To suppress separation of air flows in air holes that are positioned in the outermost circumferential row in an air hole plate, but are far from a turn guide. A gas turbine combustor includes: an inner cylinder forming a combustion chamber; an outer cylinder forming a cylindrical outer circumference flow path through which compressed air flows, between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder; an end cover closing an end portion of the outer cylinder; an air hole plate having air holes introducing the compressed air passed through the outer circumference flow path, into the combustion chamber; a plurality of fuel nozzles injecting a fuel into the combustion chamber via the air holes; a turn guide provided to the inner cylinder or the air hole plate and guiding a turn of the compressed air passed through the outer circumference flow path; and an auxiliary guide provided at an outer circumferential portion of a surface of the air hole plate facing the fuel nozzles, so as to be positioned on an inner circumference side with respect to the turn guide.
