The invention relates to the technical field of artificial intelligence, and discloses a document printing method and device based on the cloud technology, equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a printing start request sent by a client based on the workflow technology, and pushing the printing start request to a printing queue; monitoring whether a printing start request exists in the printing queue or not; if yes, obtaining a printing start request from the printing queue as a target request, and determining a target printing engine from a preset printing engine library according to a document type in target printing configuration carried by the target request; according to the target printing engine and the target printing configuration, a target document carried by the target request is remotely printed, and a printing result is obtained; and sending the printing result to a client corresponding to the target request. Therefore, printing based on the cloud technology is achieved, monitoring and afterwards summarization of printing are facilitated, and signals of paper shortage or abnormity of the printer can be sent to printer maintenance personnel through cloud computing.
