The invention provides a method of wild-growth-imitation planting of polyporus umbellatus in the Pu-er mountainous area and belongs to the planting methods of polyporus umbellatus. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, selecting a wild forest satisfying the conditions that the dominant tree species (such as fagaceae, rubiaceae and theaceae) in primitive broad-leaved forests are present, under-forest soil is thick in soil humus, the gradient is greater than 20 degrees and the drainage is convenient; secondly, digging strip-shaped pits in the under-forest ground, which satisfies the above-mentioned conditions, in the selected area for planting polyporus umbellatus; thirdly, according to the requirement for polyporus umbellatus spawns, selecting wild or artificially-planted white polyporus umbellatus or grey polyporus umbellatus with lighter colors, the weight of each being greater than 15g; fourthly, digging strip-shaped pits 80cm long and wide and 30cm deep in the ground, paving the bottoms of the pits with tree leaves 5cm thick, placing sticks on the tree leaves at intervals of 3-5cm, placing honey fungi and polyporus umbellatus spawns close to the sticks, placing sandy soil of 10cm thereon for covering, laying tree leaves thereon, and digging drainage trenches around the pits for facilitating drainage of accumulated water in rainy days; fifthly, taking no special management measures in the growth process and only adding 2-3 times of manual forest water spray and surface irrigation in specially-dry seasons; sixthly, harvesting the medicinal materials after the polyporus umbellatus grow for three years.
