Method for producing propylene oxide

The invention discloses a chemical production method, in particular a novel green production process for propylene oxide. In the method, the process design is carried out by using bipolar membrane, electrodialysis, antiosmosis, air flotation, heat exchange, oxidation, and other technology. In the production process, sodium hydroxide replaces the conventional calcium hydroxide and generates sodium chloride through reaction; the sodium chloride generates hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide by the bipolar membrane technology; and the hydrochloric acid is recovered, and the sodium hydroxide and water can be recycled. Therefore, no new sodium hydroxide is needed and no wastewater is discharged in the production of the propylene oxide. The sodium hydroxide is added at the preliminary stage of the production of the propylene oxide, and the input amount of the sodium hydroxide is controlled between 5 and 15 percent. The novel green production process for the propylene oxide has the advantages that: the recycling of the water, sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide is realized, the effects of zero discharge and input reduction of production materials are substantially achieved, and finally better social and economic benefits are achieved. The novel green production process for the propylene oxide can be widely applied to the chlorohydrin production in China.

Method of efficiently compressing and decompressing test data using input reduction

A new test data compression method and decompression apparatus is invented for SoC (System-on-a-Chip) architecture. The method is based on analyzing the factors that influence test parameters: compression ratio and hardware overhead. To improve compression ratio, the proposed method is based on Modified Statistical Coding (MSC) and input reduction (IR) scheme, as well as a novel mapping and re-ordering algorithm proposed in a preprocessing step. Unlike previous approaches using the CSR architecture, the inventive method is to compress original test data, but not Tdiff, and decompress the compressed test data without the CSR architecture. Therefore, the proposed method leads to better compression ratio with lower hardware overhead than previous works. An experimental comparison on ISCAS '89 benchmark circuits validates the proposed method.

The transmission also contains a single speed all mechanical by-pass for use when cruising and an input reduction gear to increase the torque and power capacity of the transmission.A further feature of the transmission is a valve arrangement that allows the transmission to generate a continuously variable braking torque when the transmission is used to supply braking force to the vehicle.In addition, the transmission includes a selectable, one-way clutch that connects the input directly to the output. When engaged, this clutch provides an all mechanical by-pass to the hydraulic transmission for use when cruising in order to improve the efficiency.
