The invention concerns an apparatus (1) for producing a three-dimensional object layer by layer using a powdery material which can be solidified by irradiating it with an energy beam, such as electromagnetic radiation or an electron beam, said apparatus (1) comprising: a working area (3) onto which layers of powdery material are to be placed; a powder storage unit (11) comprising a base surface (13) for supporting a supply of powder (2); and a powder distribution member (6); wherein the base surface (13) extends along a side of the working area (3), wherein the distribution member (6) extends in a direction along the base surface (13) and said side of the working area (3) and is arranged to be moveable in a plane above, and substantially parallel to, the base surface (13) and the working area (3), and wherein the distribution member (6) is arranged to be moveable into a supply of powder (2) placed onto the base surface (13) such as to bring about a transfer of a portion of powder from a side of the distribution member (6) facing away from the working area (3) to an opposite side of the distribution member (6) facing the working area (3), said distribution member (6) further being arranged to be moveable towards and across the working area (3) so as to distribute the portion of powder onto the working area (3). The invention is characterized in that at least a part (15) of the base surface (13) is arranged to be resilient in a vertical direction.

Aerosol valve actuator

An aerosol valve actuator with a valve stem engaging portion, product dispensing opening, and flexible and expandable product conduit between the engaging portion and dispensing opening. The product conduit is molded at least in part of a first expandable flexible plastic material softer than a second plastic material of the remainder of the actuator. The remainder of the actuator is first molded, followed by molding the first plastic material to form at least a part of the product conduit. After the actuator has been actuated to dispense a foaming product and actuation ceases, the post-foaming product expands within the product conduit since the conduit expands to absorb the product expansion. Actuator cap and base product dispensing side openings align only during valve actuation. Base inwardly flexible members and cap internal ramps bias the cap upwardly when actuation ceases. Base upper portion telescopes in base lower portion during actuation.

The technology is relevant to comprehensive testing of the actual using effect of a foundation pile and is characterized in that longitudinal wave transmitting downwards along a pile body is generated by knocking the top surface of the foundation pile, the longitudinal wave velocity and pile length of the foundation pile can be accurately measured by detecting the time difference of arrival of the longitudinal wave in a sounding pipe, and the quality of pile body concrete can be judged; actual measurement on the time difference of arrival of the longitudinal wave which is transmitted from the pile side soil along the knocked pile body can be conducted in adjacent pipelines or geological bore holes, and the length of the foundation pile, the pile body quality and the chambering degree can be measured; and the wave length of a geological soil layer can be measured, the condition of the geological soil layer around the pile can be judged, and the rock-inlet condition of the foundation pile can be analyzed. By means of the technology for performing foundation pile quality detection and geology survey by adopting the single tube longitudinal wave method, a signal processor can be configured externally or inserted in on the basis of the existing low-strain ultrasonic detection devices and the like, the technology can achieve foundation pile quality nondestructive testing and geology survey, is an economic and ready-made pile foundation nondestructive testing auxiliary validation method and can remarkably improve accuracy and service level of pile foundation quality decision.
