Grafted multi-functional olefin copolymer VI modifiers and uses thereof

A novel highly grafted, multi-functional olefin copolymer is provided comprising an additive reaction product of a method comprising reacting acylating agent with an olefin copolymer having a number average molecular weight greater than about 1,000 in the presence of a free radical initiator and essentially free of hydrocarbon solvent in an extruder to provide an olefin copolymer intermediate comprising an acylated olefin copolymer having a degree of grafting (DOG) of at least 0.5 wt. %, which copolymer intermediate's molecular weight is reduced, vacuum stripped of unreacted components, pelletized, dissolved in a neutral oil (preferably with inert gas sparging), and further reacted with a polyamine to provide a grafted multi-functional olefin copolymer viscosity modifier, and lubricating oil concentrates and compositions containing the same and uses thereof.

Pressure sensor module

In a pressure sensor module according to the prior art, which is intended for detecting the pressure of a corrosive medium, the conventional sensor cell with a pressure sensor chip is modified in order to protect it from corrosion, which results in a large volume for a pressure-transmitting fluid. This is disadvantageous for the calibration and for a high degree of measurement precision. In a pressure sensor module (1) according to the invention, a conventional sensor cell (5) is used that has an adapter (21) connected to it, which has a very small volume for a pressure-transmitting medium.

An oil strainer for a transmission including a resin-made upper case which is formed in a side surface of an upper part of a communication port for communication with a pump and which has an upper flange along the outer periphery thereof, a resin-made lower case which is provided with an oil suction port in a lower surface thereof and which has a lower flange joined to the upper flange of the upper case, and a filter member which is disposed in a space formed by joining the upper and lower cases and which filters an oil flowing from the oil suction port to the communication port. The oil strainer is configured to further includes an oil suction port cover member which is so formed as to cover at least an inside upper surface of the oil suction port and which forms a passage for conducting the oil to the filter member.

In a breather device for engine, in which an inlet of a breather chamber communicates with a crank chamber through a reed valve, the reed valve being formed of: a fixed stopper plate arranged so as to be opposed to a valve seat formed on an end face of the inlet facing the breather chamber; and an elastic valve plate fixed at one end thereof to the stopper plate and capable of bending elastically to change its position from a closed position in which the elastic valve plate closes the inlet by seating on the valve seat to an opening limit position in which the elastic valve plate opens the inlet and abuts against the stopper plate, the stopper plate is provided at a center part thereof with an oil discharge hole through which oil present between the elastic valve plate and the stopper plate is pushed out when the elastic valve plate is pushed toward the opening limit position in which the elastic valve plate abuts against the stopper plate by pressure in the crank chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the elastic valve plate from sticking to the stopper plate even if oil mist adheres to the elastic valve plate or the stopper plate of the reed valve.

The oil-water slag separation device for the kitchen garbage has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient operation, small power consumption, short treatment cycle, high degree of automation and the like, can effectively dewater the kitchen garbage, simultaneously separates out oil and water, and meets the needs of further treatment and utilization; and the oil-water slag separation device for the kitchen garbage can significantly decrease the oil content and the water ratio of solid matters, shortens the treatment cycle in a greater degree, and is more conducive to subsequent resource utilization.
