The conduit and the tip may be dimensioned to allow the tip to be received within the conduit. One advantage of such a system is that the retention system may be retracted entirely into the conduit so as to make insertion and retraction of the device more comfortable for the patient.

Methods for manufacturing fabric-reinforced weatherstrip include incorporating a fabric application step into a process for making coated substrates. In one embodiment, a strip of the fabric from a roll of material may be applied directly onto a coating after it has been applied in a coat die to a foam profile, while the coating is still in the molten state. Alternatively, a fabric application plate may be attached to an upstream side of coating die with a fabric feed channel cut into the plate. The fabric follows the channel to contact and mate with the foam profile. The fabric applicator plate may be configured so as to exert pressure on only the part of the product where the fabric is being applied. Ultrasonic welding techniques may also be employed.

The invention discloses a method for preparing a WC / graphite composite coating on the surface of titanium alloy. The method includes the steps that firstly, the surface of a titanium alloy base material is pretreated so that an oxidation film on the surface is removed; secondly, WC powder and diamond powder are evenly mixed to obtain mixed powder, a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution is added into the mixed powder and stirred evenly, and a cladding material is obtained; thirdly, the cladding material is arranged on the surface of the titanium alloy base material in advance, and a precoated layer is obtained after drying; and fourthly, laser cladding treatment is carried out on the surface of the titanium alloy base material with the precoated layer, and the WC / graphite composite coating is obtained through preparation. Polymorphism occurs to the diamond in the precoated layer on the surface of the titanium alloy base material through the heat generated in the laser cladding treatment, and graphite is generated after conversion. The defect that a graphite coating can not be prepared through the laser technology in the prior art is overcome, the WC / graphite composite coating is prepared on the surface of the titanium alloy, the abrasion resistance of the surface of the titanium alloy is improved, and the friction coefficient of the titanium alloy is lowered.

A towable trailered standing tree baler provides independent maneuverability with sufficient structural strength required for baling large trees. A telescopic wheeled frame provides ground support directly underneath a tree branch compression ring and therefore provides a strong structural foundation for pushing the ring upward. The support wheels of the frame can be both steered and tilted so that the apparatus can be centered on the tree even on uneven ground. A compression ring lifting boom utilizes an interconnecting rotation arm between the end of the boom and the compression ring so that the ring may be positioned at a very low starting point close to the ground and then moved accurately upwardly with the circumference of the ring being held level and centered. A specialized lining material on the ring reduces friction against the tree limb bark and therefore reduces tree limb damage.
