An adjustable hanger device includes an adjustable mounting bracket that may be sized for mounting the hanger to support members of various dimensions. A reverse angled threadform with anti-splay clearance includes inner and outer helical threads, each with respective leading stab flanks and trailing load flanks, the load flanks mutually engaging when an inner member with the inner threads is advanced into an outer member with the outer threads. The inner load flanks form acute angles with a helical axis, while the outer load flanks form obtuse angles with the helical axis. The clearance is formed between the stab flanks of the inner and outer threads. An oxide-based electrolytic structure and process is disclosed, which is particularly useful for use as an oxygen separation device. The disclosed structures utilize thin film layers to provide the oxygen separation in conjunction with polymer substrate materials. The disclosed devices operate at relatively low temperatures to provide a relatively low flux density (typically 10⁻¹⁰-10⁻¹⁴ g/cm² sec) of ion conduction, compared to prior art solid oxide electrolytes, whereas substantial oxygen separation is provided over relatively large areas. The notch pressing device for a crash box of a vehicle includes a lower fixing plate, an upper fixing plate mounted to the lower fixing plate by a plurality of posts, a core rotating unit that selectively rotates a core where the crash box is put and is disposed to one end of the lower fixing plate, a supporting unit that is connected to a moving die for selectively supporting a lower portion of an end of the core and that is disposed to a side of the lower fixing plate, and a forming unit which is connected to a punch, which selectively pushes the crash box put to the core for forming the notch, and that is disposed to the upper fixing plate.

This invention generally relates to decorative spinners. More specifically, this invention relates to a spinner apparatus rotated about its vertical axis, either by wind blowing across its face or in a second embodiment, spun by a motor drive unit. The spinner apparatus consists of a number or set of letters or other decorative symbol or logo on or in a pad centered between concentric bands of tinted transparent material coated metal which are connected at the top and bottom and progressively radially displaced about their vertical axis as they approach the inner band. When the device is spun either by the wind blowing it or by an electric motor, the numbers, letters or symbols stand out and appear to be stationary in the line of sight of the viewer and the bands progressively rotated off the plane of the outside band and the center detail provide an interesting wind catching and light reflecting three dimensional shape. When the spinning apparatus is lighted at night it takes on an electric glow appearance and the light appears to move either from the center outward or from the outside inward depending on the direction of rotation.

A screw having in its head a recess that includes two or three non-circular superimposed recess-tiers. The depth of each recess-tier is less than 1.35 mm and there is less than 1° draw in each recess. The screw head recess is formed using a punch (10) in a cold heading process. The punch is formed in a profilating CNC machine, cutting the profiles of the punch to a tolerance of better than ±0.0025 mm.

The screw has two or three non-circular super-imposed recesses. The depth of each recess is less than 1.2 mm and there is a less than 1° of draw in each recess. The screw head recess is formed using a punch (10) in a cold-heading process. A drive system for drivingly coupling two components to one another, for example, a drive shaft and a driven component such as a flexible cable. The end of the drive shaft is formed with a circular bore, and the end of the flexible cable is formed with a square or other polygonal shape. One or more drive clips within the cylindrical bore drivingly engage the inner surface of the circular bore of the drive shaft, and also conform to the external surfaces of the cable end portion to prevent relative rotation between the drive shaft and the flexible cable, such that same are drivingly coupled.

The present invention is directed to methods of preparing linear polymers such as polyalkylene oxides containing a terminal amine in high purity. One preferred method includes reacting a polyalkylene oxide such as polyethylene glycol containing a terminal tosylate with a protected amine salt to form a polymer containing a terminal protected amine and thereafter deprotecting the polymer containing the terminal protected amine to form the polymer having a terminal amine. The resultant polymer-amines are of sufficient purity so that expensive and time consuming purification steps required for pharmaceutical grade polymers are avoided.
