The invention discloses a seepage preventing construction structure and method. The seepage preventing construction structure comprises a soil foundation, a waterproof layer and a surface soil covering layer, all of which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top. The waterproof layer comprises a first seepage preventing layer, a soil solidification layer and a second seepage preventing layer, all of which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top. The waterproof layer is composed of three
layers of structures including the two seepage preventing
layers and one soil solidification layer, the seepage preventing effect is greatly improved, the
osmotic coefficient is smaller than 10<-10> cm / s, and the soil solidification layer is formed by solidification of
bentonite, a
fiber material, soil and water. The
bentonite has the beneficial effects of being high in water absorbing
expansion rate, high in expansion speed, resistant to
ageing and
corrosion, and the like; through adding of the
fiber material, the anti-bending capability of the soil solidification layer can be improved as well; according to the seepage preventing technology, the seepage preventing effect is good, the external force
impact and deformation resisting capability is high, the
compressive strength is larger than 20 MPa, and meanwhile large equipment and a large number of materials are not needed during construction. Construction is simple and efficient, cost is low, and the seepage preventing construction structure and method are suitable for being applied to channel seepage preventing, contaminated site
risk control, road pavement and other fields with the high seepage preventing requirement.
