Cruise control with braking activated brake regeneration

A controller unit facilitates determining that a fast approaching forward vehicle has breached a fast approach threshold and may initiate brake regeneration to slow a commercial hybrid host vehicle in which the controller is employed. The controller determines whether there is capacity in the state of charge (SOC) of a high voltage battery to permit brake regeneration, and / or determines whether there is capacity in on board air tanks to permit a compressor motor to compress air, thereby drawing charge from the battery to create brake regeneration capacity. When battery SOC is below a predetermined threshold and a fast approaching vehicle breaches a fast approach threshold, the controller sends a brake regeneration command to a traction motor to act as a generator to supply charge to the battery, which in turn slows the vehicle.

Method for predicting underground river filling based on GR frequency-divided inversion

The invention discloses a method for predicting the underground river filling degree based on GR frequency-divided inversion. The method comprises the steps of performing frequency division processing on original seismic data by using a Marr wavelet frequency division technology, acquiring frequency-divided data volumes with different frequency bands, respectively extracting frequency division attributes of different frequency bands from the frequency-divided data volumes, building a kernel function according to an amplitude-frequency relation under different thicknesses of a reservoir, performing multiple times of learning by using a support vector machine, establishing a nonlinear mapping relation between the frequency division attributes and well logging GR curves, combining the nonlinear mapping relations between the frequency division attributes of different frequency bands and the well logging GR curves together to acquire a GR frequency-divided inversion body, determining the GR peak distribution probability corresponding to underground river samples with different filling degrees according to a well logging interpretation result, and determining the underground river filling degree of the GR frequency-divided inversion body. The scheme can acquire an inversion result with high resolution, can directly predict muddy filling conditions of a reservoir in an undrilled region, can improve the construction and production rate of a development and adjustment well and provides technical support for formulating an oilfield development scheme.

Disposable container and method for labeling it

A disposable syringe having both graduated marks and a label describing the medicine contained in the syringe, obtained according to a method which involves feeding an orderly succession of syringes having the graduated marks on the body towards a labeling station; feeding an orderly succession of adhesive labels, each having a transparent portion, towards the labeling station; synchronizing each syringe with the respective label so that, subsequently, the transparent portion is placed over the graduated marks; and wrapping the respective label around the body of each syringe, first bringing a longitudinal edge of the label into contact with the syringe body then rotating the syringe about its own longitudinal axis.

Roller tray for a two-part coating package

A package for a two-part coating includes a container having an outer wall and at least one dividing wall extending across the outer wall to divide the container into at least first and second chambers that are separated from each other by the dividing wall. A roller tray has a longitudinal edge adapted removably to be received over the dividing wall such that the roller tray extends from the dividing wall over one of the chambers. In one exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, at least one support leg extends from an opposing edge of the roller tray and is adapted removably to be received on the outer wall of the container. One edge of the roller tray preferably has a longitudinal slot adapted to be removably received over an upstanding lip on the dividing wall, and the opposing edge of the tray preferably has a spaced pair of support legs with feet adapted removably to be received by snap fit over an external lip on the outer wall of the container so that the tray is fully supported above the one chamber, preferably the “dry” chamber of the container.
