The method operates by entering a clean touch screen mode wherein individual touches of the touch screen display are not recognized by the touch screen device. This allows the user to clean the touch screen display by wiping it with a cloth without inadvertently activating a feature or inputting unwanted data. The touch screen display turns bright white when it is in the clean touch screen mode to illuminate dirt and oil on the touch screen display to allow for easier cleaning of the touch screen display. The touch screen device exits the clean touch screen mode in response to input from the user. The user can depress any key on a keyboard attached to the touch screen device or the user can simultaneously touch opposite corners of the touch screen display to exit the clean touch screen mode. Preferably, the luminescent glass has a 2700K to 7000K black body temperature and color rendering index value exceeding 80. A first embodiment of the glass is composed primarily of P2O5, Al2O3, and alkaline earth and alkali metal oxides, and possesses other properties such as physical and thermal properties that are compatible with conventional melting, forming and other manufacturing steps. Other embodiments of the luminescent glass have a maximum water content of 0.1 wt-% and do not contain any boron. Also the luminescent glass is preferably free of water, boron oxides and nitrides. The luminescent glass can be used as a wavelength converter to produce bright white light emission when pumped by conventional commercially available blue and UV light emitting diode sources.

The mineral-containing layer is substantially and continuously bonded to the other layers. The present invention is an unexpectedly unique and environmentally friendly composite structure containing mineral layers with bonding agents as a key component. The material is designed to form flexible and semi-rigid storage articles at equal or lower costs to prior art solutions while providing a mineral containing layer that is a very smooth, has comparatively high plasticity, and having a high quality printing surface not requiring Corona Treatment. The composite structure is used as a primary or secondary packaging container or insulating material. In addition to the mineral containing layer, the composite could contain various combinations of extruded resins, cast or blown films, and fibers.
