Method and apparatus for anchoring cardiovascular implants

Methods, devices and systems facilitate retention of a variety of therapeutic devices. Devices generally include an anchoring element, which has been designed to promote fibrotic ingrowth, and an anchored device, which has been designed to firmly engage the complementary region of the anchoring element. The anchoring element may be placed in a minimally invasive procedure temporally separated from the deployment of the anchored device. Once enough time has passed to ensure appropriate fixation of the anchoring element by tissue and cellular ingrowth at the site of placement, the anchored device may then be deployed during which it firmly engages the complementary region of the anchoring element. In this manner, a firm attachment to the implantation site may be made with a minimum of required hardware. Some embodiments are delivered through a delivery tube or catheter and while some embodiments may require laparoscopy or open surgery for one or more of the placement procedures. Some embodiments anchor devices within the cardiovascular tree while others may anchor devices within the gastrointestinal, peritoneal, pleural, pulmonary, urogynecologic, nasopharyngeal or dermatologic regions of the body. An alternative embodiment provides for the placement of the anchoring element and anchored device simultaneously, but allows for their removal separately. This embodiment allows the device, which may be placed only temporarily and be designed to be removed, to experience significant fibrotic ingrowth, but then to be easily detached from the ingrowth-anchored region to allow for simple and quick device removal.

The invention discloses a method for using chlorpyrifos and a CNT (carbon nanometer tube) interlayer to regulate lawn grass heavy metal accumulation. The method for using the chlorpyrifos and the CNT interlayer to regulate the lawn grass heavy metal accumulation uses an oxidative modification CNT as the interlayer, aims at using the interlayer to reduce underground leakage influences of heavy metal after the chlorpyrifos and compost compound heavy metal are coupled, and provides important technical support to the oxidative modification CNT in remediation of heavy metal coupling pollution. An experiment result proves that under action of the chlorpyrifos, adding of the oxidative modification CNT mixed with all layers increases heavy metal accumulation amount of aboveground parts of festuca arundinacea, and compared with contrast groups, heavy metal total amount of percolation liquid in the CNT interlayer is reduced. The adding of the oxidative modification CNT reduces the risk that the heavy metal migrates towards underground water to a certain extent, and then technical support is provided to practical application of the method for using the chlorpyrifos and the CNT interlayer to regulate the lawn grass heavy metal accumulation.

The composition comprises biomass carbon, bentonite and a calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer. The biomass carbon produced from agricultural wastes ramulus mori, bentonite and the calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer are used to effectively control the activity of cadmium in the soil, reduce the content of cadmium in rice and produce natural selenium-rich rice according with national standards. The composition has the advantages of low preparation cost and environmental protection, and can be practically applied to the remediation and the regulation of the cadmium-polluted selenium-rich soil.

Method for controlling accumulation of heavy metal in turfgrass by means of siduron and carbon nano tube interlayer

The invention discloses a method for controlling accumulation of heavy metal in turfgrass by means of siduron and a carbon nano tube interlayer. According to the method, an oxidization modified carbon nano tube is taken as the interlayer to reduce underground seeping of heavy metal after siduron and compost compound heavy metal are coupled and provide important technical support for dealing with heavy metal coupling pollution by means of the modified carbon nano tube. Experimental results prove that under the action of siduron, the modified carbon nano tube mixed interlayer is added to increase the amount of heavy metal in the overground part of festuca arundinacea, and the total amount of percolate heavy metal in the modified carbon nano tube interlayer is reduced compared with a matched group. Due to the adding of the modified carbon nano tube, the risk that heavy metal immigrates into underground water is reduced to a certain degree, and technical support is provided for actual application of the method.

The invention discloses a preparation method for plastic kitchen utensils with transfer-resistant colorant. The method comprises the following steps of: a) adding dried polypropylene particles and liquid paraffin in a mass ratio of (2,500:1)-(5,000-1) into a material mixing cylinder, and mixing and stirring to obtain wet polypropylene; b) adding the wet polypropylene particles, pigment, and a superdispersant in a mass ratio of (5,000:1:10)-(50,000:1:20) into the material mixing cylinder, and mixing and stirring to establish a transparent product pigment super-dispersion system; adding the wet polypropylene particles, the pigment, and the superdispersant in a mass ratio of (500:1:10)-(5,000:1:20) into the material mixing cylinder, and mixing and stirring to establish a solid color product pigment super-dispersion system; and c) pre-heating and drying a mixture in the material mixing cylinder in a material drying cylinder at the temperature of between 20 and 25 DEG C for 4 to 24 hours, injecting the preheated mixture into an injection molding machine and performing injection molding to obtain the plastic kitchen utensils. The colorant of the prepared plastic kitchen utensils is high in transfer resistance, and product yield is improved.

Double baffle vascular occluder

A vascular occluder includes first and second baffle members which are formed of an expansion device such as a stent across which extends an impermeable membrane. The baffle members are held at a given separation by spacer elements. The separation creates a chamber between the baffle members in which the blood is able to stagnate, thereby creating a second occlusion barrier. One of the baffle members may have an aperture within its membrane for receiving a delivery catheter for delivery of thrombogenic agent into the chamber. The occluder has a given length, thereby making it suitable for implantation in difficult vessel sections and is also able to avoid problems of recanalization of the vessel which can occur with prior art occluders.

The invention provides a method for treating high-concentration cadmium pollution through calcium-enhanced microorganism mineralization and combined phytoremediation. The method is used for passivating high-concentration cadmium (larger than or equal to 5 mM) pollution in soil. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, pasteurella, calcium strengthening liquid and urea are mixed into to-be-remediated soil to immediately passivate high-concentration effective-state cadmium in the soil to form cadmium carbonate precipitate; and then plants are planted. The durability problem of passivation and re-dissolution of cadmium is solved through phytoremediation, passivated heavy metal can be slowly dissolved out along with migration of time and is absorbed by the plants, and compared with a traditional chemical method, passivation is achieved. The method is easy to operate and low in cost, the defects of biomineralization and phytoremediation are mutually compensated, a complete system for stably removing the heavy metal from the soil is formed, and the method has wide application prospects in the aspect of soil heavy metal pollution remediation.
