The invention discloses a lens calibration
system of employing an
imaging technology and a calibration method thereof. The lens calibration
system comprises an image retrieving module, a
processing module and a display module; the image retrieving module retrieves a target image through a lens to obtain a real-time image; the
processing module analyzes the real-time image to calculate the contrast, the
optical axis offset, the offset direction or the
offset distance, and the display module displays the real-time image, the contrast, the
optical axis offset, the offset direction or the
offset distance. According to the lens calibration
system of employing the
imaging technology and the calibration method thereof, the real-time image can be obtained through the image retrieving module, and the
calibration result can be immediately corrected and confirmed without an extra calibrating element. Therefore, the production cost can be reduced. Meanwhile, preferably, the calibration method can be carried out in an automatic mode, therefore, an overlarge error caused by manual calibration or waste of
working hours and personnel cost required for reducing calibration can be avoided.
