Multiple redundant computer system combining fault diagnostics and majority voting with dissimilar redundancy technology

A multiple redundant computer system includes three primary processor modules (PPM) and three redundant processor modules (RPM) operating synchronously. Primary and redundant processor modules are dissimilar in hardware and software for decreasing the probability of a common cause system failure. Each primary and redundant processor module receives input data from associated primary and redundant input modules respectively, executes control program and transfers output data to an output module. The output module produces a system output as the result of 2-out-of-3 voting among output data generated by PPMs. In response to PPMs hard failures, the output module still produces the system output as the result of 2-out-of-3 voting among output data generated by any combination of the PPM and the RPM. As such, the system is able to operate properly even though five-out-of six processor modules have failed. The output module also compares output data that it has received from each pair of the associated PPM and RPM for detecting a disparity between said output data due to the occurrence of transient faults. Additionally, the output module produces the system output as the result of 2-out-of-2 and 1-out-of-1 voting upon the occurrence of disparity of output data generated by the associated PPM and RPM in one and two pairs of the associated PPM and RPM respectively.

Recovering data from arrays of storage devices after certain failures

A method is disclosed for recovering data from a RAID system after a transient failure. After a transient failure, the cause of the failure is corrected and a user initiates a trust array command. The RAID controller receives the trust array command and performs several modifications to the disk metadata. First, the partition age metadata field is synchronized. Second, the primary dead partition map metadata field is cleared. Third, the partition status metadata field is set to initialized. Following the metadata modifications, the RAID controller verifies that it can access all of the drives in the array. If all drives are accessible, the array is on-line and fault tolerant without the need for re-constructing a drive within the array, or re-creating the array. If one drive remains inaccessible, data is available from the array, and the array is in a critical state. If two or more drives remain inaccessible, the array remains off-line and a partial recovery may be attempted. The trust array command may, in certain instances, be initiated automatically by the RAID system without any user involvement.

The invention discloses a double clutch transmission gear pre-engagement control method. The double clutch transmission gear pre-engagement control method comprises the following steps: in a non-pre-engagement state, identifying the current gear position of a vehicle, and determining the current gear input shaft and the non-current gear input shaft according to the current gear position; controlling all gear shifting forks of the non-current gear input shaft to be in the neutral gear position; and when judging that the vehicle meets the preset gear shifting condition according to running parameters of the vehicle, controlling the non-current gear clutch to be disengaged, and engaging the target gear, corresponding to the running parameters, on the non-current gear input shaft, wherein the running parameters of the vehicle comprise the current vehicle speed. The invention further provides a double clutch transmission gear pre-engagement control system as well as the vehicle. According to the double clutch transmission gear pre-engagement control method and system as well as the vehicle, the prejudgment and pre-engagement accuracy and efficiency are improved, and the problems that the clutch is ablated or a gear component has a transient failure due to long-time simultaneous engagement of an odd-numbered gear and an even-numbered gear during the non-gear shifting process of the transmission are avoided.

Cloud message transfer apparatus to reduce non-delivery reports

Duplicate deliveries of email messages are prevented when a transient failure prevents delivery to some of a plurality of intended recipients but delivery to an other one or more of the intended recipients is successful. After receiving a list of recipients, an email body, and an “end of data” sequence, but prior to responding to the “end of data” sequence, an email server determines a transient failure reply code when any one of the address mailboxes of intended recipients is not available. A message-memorandum, such as the globally unique message-id and the address of one or more successful recipients is stored into a memorandum store. A subsequent transmission of the corresponding message will only be delivered to recipients who have not previously received it. Using this invention, the receiving / relay system would persistently track which recipients were allowed or refused by some unique characteristic of the message, such as internet message ID or a checksum of the distinct portions of the message / envelope that are unlikely to change (e.g. sender, recipients, body). Once a message has been identified as one that has been previously partially deferred, the recipients that were previously allowed would be ignored and delivery would be attempted only to the recipients that had not previously been allowed.

Aircraft engine transient state fault detecting method

The invention provides an aircraft engine transient state fault detecting method which includes first extracting marked features from rotating speed data of an aircraft engine based on a Mahalanobis adaptive Hessian locally linear embedding feature extractor; then utilizing an adaptive BP neural network classifier to analyze and determine whether faults are generated in the transient state according to the result of the feature extraction; finally processing the detected faults through a diagnosis system to generate a maintenance guide. The method solves the problem that the existing aircraft fault detection is only confined to engine data collection in the steady state. The method adopts combination of the Hessian locally linear embedding (Mahalanobis adaptive Hessian locally linear embedding) and adaptive BP (Back Propagation) neural network. The method can effectively improve the fault detection performance of the aircraft engine in the transient state.

The invention relates to a weak signal detection method for multi-scale noise-regulated stochastic resonance, belonging to the signal processing field. Aiming at the problem that the output of generalstochastic resonance system does not resonate at multiple frequencies at the same time, the influence mechanism of multi-scale noise reduction on stochastic resonance is studied, and a wavelet packettransform (WPT)-based method for noise-tuned stochastic resonance (NTSR) is proposed. The noise inherent in the signal is tuned into multi-scale noise by WPT, so that the noise can be tuned more carefully. The method is based on wavelet packet transform (WPT). The new method is used to overcome the limitation of the traditional parameter adjustment method, stochastic resonance detection based onWPT multi-scale noise adjustment has a good performance in rotating machinery multi-transient fault signal detection, which has a certain guiding significance and practical value. The method can further improve the output signal-to-noise ratio and achieve multi-frequency detection.

The target device provides two fixed address registers. wherein the fixed address 1 register data is valid through a read signal and a chip selection signal; a positive code of the parallel bus address is triggered and latched in real time; The data of the register of the fixed address 2is written into the inverse code of the parallel bus address of the target equipment, and the CPU security system dynamically judges the correctness of the data transmission process in real time by writing the data of the fixed address 2 and reading out the XOR bit sum of the value of the register and the tested address data and judging whether the value is' 1 'or not. The data transmission process refers to a parallel bus read-write function and data access of target equipment and a CPU safety system, and detection is not limited to possible random interference and device transient failure in the process.
