The invention is a turn-to-turn protecting method of
high voltage parallel reactor, composed of self-adapting compensatory zero sequence power direction component, zero sequence impedance locking component, failure open component,
harmonic locking component and turn-to-turn short-circuit protective starting component with phase current industrial frequency variation quantity
brake and floating threshold: (1) adopting the turn-to-turn short-circuit protective starting component using phase current industrial frequency variation quantity
brake and floating threshold technique; (2) when
short circuit between turns occurs, for the self-adapting compensatory zero sequence power direction component, its zero sequence source is inside the reactor and zero sequence
voltage is very small, in order to enhance sensitivity of short-
circuit protection between turns, it compensates the zero sequence
voltage; (3) the failure open component; (4) the
harmonic locking component utilizes the proportional relation between industrial frequency components and other
harmonics in current and
voltage, and when the proportion exceeds to a certain extent, increases action
delay time of
short circuit between turns and reduces acting sensitivity of short-
circuit protection between turns.
