A protective case for protecting a portable electronic device is provided. The case includes first and second bodies which cover the periphery of the electronic device, and locking parts which separably couple the first and second bodies to each other. Each body includes a lateral extension part which extends in a lateral direction, and longitudinal extension parts which extend in a longitudinal direction. The longitudinal extension parts include a longitudinal short side part which extends from an end of the lateral extension part, and a longitudinal long side part which extends from the other end of the lateral extension part. The locking parts are formed at junctions between the longitudinal long side part of the first body and the longitudinal short side part of the second body and between the longitudinal long side part of the second body and the longitudinal short side part of the first body.

A communication device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a communication antenna that receives a transmission signal where a spectrum spread signal subjected to a spectrum spread is modulated; an intermediate frequency converting unit that converts the transmission signal received by the communication antenna into an intermediate frequency signal having a predetermined frequency; an analog to digital converting unit that discretizes the intermediate frequency signal and outputs a discretization signal; a noise removing unit that detects a noise other than a normal thermal noise included in the discretization signal and removes the detected noise from the discretization signal; and a demodulating unit that demodulates the spectrum spread signal, based on the discretization signal that is output from the noise removing unit.

Solder ball mounting method and solder ball mounting substrate manufacturing method

A solder resist having first opening portions on positions corresponding to electrodes and a second opening portion on a mask providing position is formed on the substrate. A flux mask whose thickness is substantially same as the solder resist is arranged in the second opening portion and then a flux is filled in the first opening portions. The flux mask is removed and then a solder ball mounting mask is arranged over the substrate such that its supporting portion is positioned in the second opening portion. Solder balls are mounted on the flux formed on the electrodes by using the solder ball mounting mask. The solder ball mounting mask is removed and then the solder balls are joined to the electrodes by executing the heating process.
