The length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle can be found using the Pythagorean theorem, which states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. For example, if one of the other sides has a length of 3 (when squared, 9) and the other has a length of 4 (when squared, 16), then their squares add up to 25. The length of the hypotenuse is the square root of 25, that is, 5.

The upper surface of the microactuator is grounded to a bottom surface of the baseplate or load beam to position the microactuator lead connection surface closest to the load to facilitate trace routing. A load beam grounding surface may be raised to accommodate the microactuator and fix the lead connection surface on a common plane with the unraised surface to further minimize trace routing and provide access for bonding the trace to the load beam.

The front end of the plug outer conductor is in the shape of continuous circles, forming an overall ring; the front end of the plug outer conductor is provided with a ring-shaped bulge with right angle trapezoid shaped cross section, the hypotenuse of the trapezoid being faced with the front side of the socket connector, and the right angle side of the trapezoid being positioned normal to the longitudinal axis of the socket connector on the back side of the connector; the inner part of the socket connector is provided with a groove provided with a sealing ring; and the distance between the mid-point of the ring bulge and the front contact surface of the plug outer conductor corresponds to that between the mid-point of the groove and the front contact surface of the socket connector. The abolishment of the four-way slits at the front end of the plug outer conductor not only increases the stiffness of the outer conductor, but also decreases the leakage of RF. When the connector is in connection, the conical surface of the plug outer conductor will automatically extrude the sealing ring on the inner side of the socket outer conductor so as to realize ideal sealing effects.

Light from a single source is divided among several illumination arms, each of which directs light via a multimode fiber bundle from the source to the wafer location. The arms are arranged circumferentially around a common illumination region, so that the region is illuminated from several directions. For each arm, light exiting the fiber bundle enters a turning prism, reflects off the hypotenuse of the prism, and is diverged in one dimension by a negative cylindrical surface on the exiting face of the prism. The beam then reflects off an anamorphic mirror and propagates to the illumination region on the wafer. The beam has an asymmetric footprint, so that it illuminates a nearly circular region of the wafer when viewed at normal incidence. The fiber bundle is at the front focal plane in the meridional dimension. The illumination region is at the rear focal plane in both dimensions.

A spade drill bit has a shaft and a spade head portion arranged on the shaft. The head portion has a rearward facing bottom edge, two longitudinal sides and a forward facing cutting edge. The cutting edge has a pointed, generally triangularly shaped tip and outer ends. The longitudinal sides of the head portion are bent along a bend in a direction of rotation of the drill bit during operation, so that the outer ends are bent forwards in the rotating direction. The bend runs from a first position at one of the longitudinal sides, closer to the bottom edge than to the cutting edge, and to a second position at the cutting edge between the outer end and the tip.

A friction welding contact part is designed into a mode that a lug boss and a concave groove are combined with each other, the axial cross sections of the lug boss and the concave groove are isosceles trapezoids, an included angle between a base and a hypotenuse of each trapezoid is 30-60 DEG, the length ratio of a top edge to the base of the trapezoid is 0.3-0.7, and the ratio of the flat area formed by the top edge of the trapezoid to the cross sectional area of the shaft is 0.01-0.1. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the bonding strength of the whole structure is effectively improved through increasing the effective contact area of the welding surface; after welded, all materials are ruptured in a titanium-aluminum parent material region; the turbocharging efficiency can be greatly increased; the engine transient responsiveness is enhanced; and the pollutant discharge is reduced; in addition, the method has a simple process and can be used for realizing mass production.
