An injectable medicament dispenser for use in controllably dispensing fluid medicaments such as insulin, antibiotics, oncolytics and the like from a prefilled container at a uniform rate. The dispenser includes a unique stored energy source in the form of a compressively deformable, polymeric elastomeric member that provides the force necessary to controllably discharge the medicament from the prefilled container which is housed within the body of the device. After having been deformed, the polymeric, elastomeric member will return to its starting configuration in a highly predictable manner.

A method for estimating temperature drift and drive curves comprises the steps of: (1) obtaining a plurality of temperature data samples over a period of time, the period of time corresponding to one of a drive operation or a drift period of an environmental control unit; (2) if the period of time corresponds to a drive operation, calculating a plurality of drive curves, each curve calculated using a different data sample subset; (3) else if the period of time corresponds to a drift period, calculating a plurality of drift curves, each curve calculated using a different data sample subset; (4) determining which curve best fits the data samples; and (5) using the best fit curve to predict one of a future temperature at a known time or a future time at which a known temperature will be reached.

A system (1) for collecting biological information on a dyed biological particle (cell or chromosome) by irradiating light onto liquid containing the dyed biological particles and for detecting information light therefrom is provided according to the present invention. The system includes a path-defining structure (2) of transparent material defining a flow path (3) through which the liquid containing the dyed biological particles runs, an irradiation apparatus (5) for irradiating light onto the particles passing through the flow path (3), a first detecting apparatus (21) for detecting first information light obtained from the irradiated particle, and a second detecting apparatus (25) for detecting second information light obtained from the irradiated particle. At least one of the first and second detecting apparatuses (21, 25) includes one or more fiber optics (26, 27), of which one ends (61, 62) are arranged adjacent the flow path (3) so as to collect the information light.

The invention relates to a device for the preferably automated supply of structural components to an assembly zone for producing a fuselage portion of an aircraft by multi-shell construction, comprising:a) at least one side shell support for introducing at least one side shell,b) at least two positioning towers for moving and aligning at least one side shell inside the device.The device according to the invention enables side shells to be quickly and precisely supplied to an assembly zone for production of an entire fuselage portion. It is possible to dispense completely with the hitherto required manual and therefore time-consuming “hovering” of side shells and other large structural components, such as upper shells, lower shells, floor frames and other technical equipment systems necessary for the production of a fuselage portion, this process being prone to problems and difficult to control.

Memory card connector

A memory card connector includes an insulating housing having a top wall and two sidewalls and defining conductive terminal grooves and a switch terminal groove. One sidewall extends upward and then extends toward the other sidewall to define an anti-mismating portion having a transverse portion above the top wall and a vertical portion connecting with the transverse portion and the sidewall. A metallic shell coupling with the insulating housing to form a card cavity has two side sections. One side section extends rearward to form a touching portion. Conductive terminals received in the conductive terminal grooves have a base portion, a soldering portion and a contacting portion. A switch terminal assembled in the switch terminal groove has a main body extending rearward to form a resilient arm received in the card cavity. The resilient arm defines a contacting projection facing the touching portion and a pressing portion facing the inner of the card cavity.
