A method for fabricating a thin film photovoltaic device is provided. The method includes providing a substrate comprising a thin film photovoltaic absorber which has a surface including copper, indium, gallium, selenium, and sulfur. The method further includes subjecting the surface to a material containing at least a zinc species substantially free of any cadmium. The surface is heated to cause formation of a zinc doped material. The zinc doped material is free from cadmium. Furthermore the method includes forming a zinc oxide material overlying the zinc doped material and forming a transparent conductive material overlying the zinc oxide material.

A dual-purpose foldable treadmill includes a drive unit, a base frame, an arm frame, a cantilever panel and a tread frame. Disclosed is a semipermeable membrane and its preparation method. The semipermeable membrane obtained has a Turing structure. The Turing structure is an ordered pattern composed of microstructures. The existence of the structure enables the semipermeable membrane of this invention to have both high water permeation flux and excellent salt retention performance, which breaks the flux limit value of the semipermeable membrane while ensuring high selective permeability of the membrane. It also has good anti-pollution properties. The present invention can reduce the span of the supports on the topsides on the catamaran float-over barges and move the reaction forces toward inner edges of the float-over barges. The lifting force can cause a reduction of stress on the topsides' and grillage's members caused during the topside offloading and transportation. The stress reduction can result in the members withstanding the additional dynamic load caused by a catamaran system without increasing member sizes adequate for an offloading operation. The reduction results in a significant savings, given the size of a typical topsides for a Spar hull or other offshore structure.

A method and system are disclosed for renewing and revoking certificates. In one embodiment, a certificate may include a renewal extension field with renewal information. Multiple sets of renewal information may be recursively embedded. Upon determining that a certificate will shortly expire, a server may determine that the certificate has a renewal extension field with renewal information, and may request a symmetric key from a certificate authority to decrypt the renewal information. The certificate authority may respond by providing a symmetric key, and the server may use the symmetric key to decrypt the renewal information, which may include updated field values for the certificate. If a server requests a symmetric key too early, i.e., too long before a certificate expires, then certificate authority may deny the request, and the server may determine to wait and then try requesting the symmetric key again. In another embodiment, a certificate authority may revoke a certificate by providing a short lifespan and not providing a symmetric key to decrypt the renewal information.
