Drilling with a high pressure rotating control device

A Drill-To-The-Limit (DTTL) drilling method variant to Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) applies constant surface backpressure, whether the mud is circulating (choke valve open) or not (choke valve closed). Because of the constant application of surface backpressure, the DTTL method can use lighter mud weight that still has the cutting carrying ability to keep the borehole clean. The DTTL method identifies the weakest component of the pressure containment system, such as the fracture pressure of the formation or the casing shoe leak off test (LOT). With a higher pressure rated RCD, such as 5,000 psi (34,474 kPa) dynamic or working pressure and 10,000 psi (68,948 kPa) static pressure, the limitation will generally be the fracture pressure of the formation or the LOT. In the DTTL method, since surface backpressure is constantly applied, the pore pressure limitation of the conventional drilling window can be disregarded in developing the fluid and drilling programs. Using the DTTL method a deeper wellbore can be drilled with larger resulting end tubulars, such as casings and production liners, than had been capable with conventional MPD applications.

Air conditioner

An operational air conditioning mode is allowed to set to a temperature uniformization mode and a spot air conditioning mode, and is selectively switched between these modes automatically by a control means (53) or manually. In such an embodiment, a comfortably air-conditioned state is obtained in all the areas of a space to be air-conditioned W during air conditioning performed in the temperature uniformization mode, and the comfort is ensured by intensively air-conditioning the surroundings of a person during air conditioning performed in the spot air conditioning mode. At the same time, since an unnecessary air conditioning is not provided to a region without the presence of a person, energy conservation is improved, for example, and thus the comfort of air conditioning and energy conservation are both achieved.

Liquid-sealed antivibration device

A relief valve having a structure where a cavitation phenomenon is prevented is simply and reliably operated. A thin center section (31) and a stationary section (32) are provided on an elastic diaphragm (30) placed inside a partition member (6), the stationary section (32) is fixed in position, and a relief valve (33) is formed integrally with the outer periphery of the stationary section (32). The relief valve (33) has a slope surface (34) on the auxiliary liquid chamber (7) side and also has a depression section (35) opened to the main liquid chamber (5) side. The rigidity of the relief valve (33) varies in the circumferential direction. When the pressure inside the main liquid chamber (5) is negative, operation liquid in the auxiliary liquid chamber (7) opens the relief valve (33) to leak it to the main liquid chamber (5), preventing occurrence of a cavitation phenomenon. Since the relief valve (33) is integrally formed with the elastic diaphragm (30), the relief valve for cavitation prevention can be easily produced, does not affect the existing structure, facilitates assembly and tuning, and can be realized at low cost. Antivibration performance is maintained constant without affecting performance of an orifice path.
