The invention discloses detection equipment for a reed, and the equipment comprises a clamping mechanism which comprises two pressing blocks, wherein the clamping mechanism comprises a screw rod whichpenetrates through the two pressing blocks together, a nut which is in contact with the pressing blocks is assembled on the screw rod, the reed is clamped between the two pressing blocks together, and a plurality of row teeth are arranged on the reed in a single row; a shifting mechanism which comprises a translation block arranged between the two pressing blocks, wherein a lead screw penetratesthrough the translation block, a rotating motor for driving the translation block to translate in the length direction of the lead screw is arranged on the translation block, a shifting tongue in intermittent contact with the row teeth is arranged on the translation block, the shifting tongue is made of an elastic material, microphones are symmetrically arranged on the translation block and located on the two sides of the shifting tongue respectively, and the vertical distances from the two microphones to the reed are equal; and an oscilloscope which is electrically connected with the translation block and displays the sound frequency acquired by the microphone. Whether the gaps of the row teeth on the reed are uniform or not is detected through the sound frequency of the row teeth impacted by the shifting tongue, the overall equipment cost is low, and the detection precision is high.
