Non-contact power transmission device

An electromagnetic resonance non-contact power transmission device includes a transmitter including a transmitter resonance element having a mechanism for discretely or continuously varying a resonant frequency, a transmitter excitation element coupled to the transmitter resonance element by electromagnetic induction, and an alternating current source for applying an alternating current at the same frequency as the resonant frequency to the transmitter excitation element, and a plurality of receivers each including a receiver resonance element having a specific resonant frequency, a receiver excitation element coupled to the receiver resonance element by electromagnetic induction, and an output circuit for outputting an electric current induced by the receiver excitation element. Electric power is transmitted selectively from the transmitter to any of the receivers having different specific resonant frequencies by changing the resonant frequency of the transmitter.

Versatile apparatus and method for electronic devices

An electronic system which includes a power delivery surface that delivers electrical power to an electrical or electronic device. The power delivery surface may be powered by any electrical power source, including, but not limited to: wall electrical outlet, solar power system, battery, vehicle cigarette lighter system, direct connection to electrical generator device, and any other electrical power source. The power delivery surface delivers power to the electronic device wirelessly. The power delivery surface may deliver power via a plurality of contacts on the electrical device conducting electricity from the power delivery surface, conductively coupling the electronic device to the power delivery surface, inductively coupling the electronic device to the power delivery surface, optically coupling the electronic device to the power delivery surface, and acoustically coupling the electronic device to the power delivery surface as well as any other electrical power delivery mechanism.

Method and apparatus for harvesting energy

An energy harvesting circuit includes one or more broadband or narrow band antennas to detect WIFI (wireless fidelity) or other RF (radio frequency) signals. The signals are rectified and voltage multiplied, and the resultant DC voltage is provided to a power management circuit. The output of the power management circuit charges a lithium battery or other storage device within the energy harvesting circuit. The energy stored in the battery or storage device is provided through a DC / DC converter circuit to a USB output connector to power or recharge the batteries of an external electronic device connected to the USB output connector of the energy harvesting circuit.

Inductive power supply with device identification

An inductive power supply system to identify remote devices using unique identification frequencies. The system includes an AIPS and a tank circuit capable of inductively providing power to a remote device at different frequencies, and a sensor for sensing the reflected impedance of the remote device at tank circuit. The system further includes a plurality of different remote devices, each having a unique resonance frequency. In operation, the AIPS is capable of identifying the type of remote device present in the inductive field by applying power to a remote device at a plurality of unique identification frequencies until the remote device establishes resonance in response to one of the identification frequencies. The AIPS includes a controller that recognizes when resonance has been established by evaluating sensor data, which is representative of the reflected impedance of the remote device. Once the identity of a remote device is determined, the AIPS may pull operating parameters for the remove device from memory to ensure efficient operation and to assist in recognizing fault conditions.

Removable small form factor fiber optic transceiver module and electromagnetic radiation shield

An easily removable modular optical signal transceiver unit for conversion between modulated light signal transmission and electronic data signals and which conforms to the Small Form Factor standard for transceiver interfaces is disclosed. The structural details of its chassis include aspects which insure the proper positioning of electronic circuit boards of a transmitter optical subassembly and a receiver optical subassembly as well as the positioning of electromagnetic radiation shielding on the chassis. In conjunction with an interface device on an electronic circuit board of a host device, the chassis supports electromagnetic radiation shielding which substantially encloses the sources of electromagnetic radiation within the module and suppresses the escape of electromagnetic radiation, thereby preventing electromagnetic interference with sensitive components and devices in proximity to the module.

Intensive assembling cabinet for large semiconductor equipment

The invention relates to an intensive assembling cabinet for large semiconductor equipment. The intensive assembling cabinet comprises a cabinet frame, an outer shell which is wrapped on the periphery of the cabinet frame, and an internal frame arranged in the cabinet frame. The internal frame divides the cabinet frame into a first radiating channel placed on the upper side, a power supply part and a control cabinet, wherein the power supply part and the control cabinet are placed on the lower side and are distributed left and right. The power supply part is connected with the control cabinet through a cable, the power supply part is placed in a stacking mode, and a maintenance space is reserved between the power supply part and the control cabinet. The control cabinet is in a self-rotating mode. According to the intensive assembling cabinet for the large semiconductor equipment, the front face and the back face of the power supply part are maintained through organization layout and the reserved maintenance space, and the rotating function of the control cabinet in the self-rotating mode is used for maintaining the front face and the back face of the control cabinet. The first radiating channel is used for pumping and draining the heat of the power supply part and the control cabinet. Meanwhile, space units for radiating, maintaining and cable placing are merged, and therefore intensive assembling is achieved.
