kudzu vine root. A preparation method for the
drug comprises the steps as follows: firstly, dividing part of the raw materials into two batches, soaking with water, decocting with strong fire, filtering, decocting for three times, taking juice, filtering, depositing and decocting into paste; secondly, mixing and
grinding part of the raw materials, soaking in
wine for 5 days, filtering, and taking liquid
medicine for later use; thirdly,
drying,
grinding and sieving part of the raw materials; and finally, preparing into pills. The drug integrates the functions of tonifying vital energy and nourishing blood, nourishing
liver and kidney, clearing and activating channels and collaterals, dispelling wind and removing
moisture, warming Yang and dredging collaterals; and 618 clinical patients prove that the
total efficiency is 97.9% and the
healing rate is 80.4%.
