An exposure apparatus which expose a photosensitive layer on an object with light via a mask having a pattern to be transferred onto the photosensitive layer, includes an illumination optical system having plural optical elements provided along an optical axis substantially perpendicular to a plane on which the pattern is placed, and which include an optical integrator from which the mask is illuminated with the light through a part of the plural optical elements. The apparatus also includes a filter device having a rotatable filter element provided between the optical integrator and the plane, and having a transmittance distribution in a predetermined area. Light from the optical integrator passes through a portion in the predetermined area. Light from the filter element has a variable intensity distribution different from that of the light incident on the filter element from the optical integrator, and made variable by rotating the filter element.

Electrically active polymer compositions and their use in efficient, low operating voltage, polymer light-emitting diodes with air-stable cathodes

The addition of a highly polarizable additive such as an organic anionic surfactant to an electrically active polymer improves the electrical properties of the polymer. When such an additive is added to an electroluminescent organic polymer this mixture can be used in diodes having an anode contacting a layer of this mixture as the active light-emitting layer and an air-stable metal cathode having a work function larger than 4 eV. The external efficiency and brightness versus voltage are significantly improved compared to results obtained with the same electroluminescent polymer used alone with high work function (>4.0 eV) metal cathodes. Specifically, device performance with indium / tin-oxide (ITO) as the anode, poly(2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene), MEH-PPV, as the electroluminescent polymer, lithium nonylphenoxy ether sulfate as the surfactant additive and aluminum as the cathode is comparable to or better than that obtained with high performance devices using calcium as the cathode.

A switching power supply apparatus includes a PFC converter, a DC-DC converter, and primary-side and secondary-side digital control circuits that control the PFC converter and the DC-DC converter. On the basis of a voltage detected by an output voltage detection circuit, the primary-side digital control circuit transmits data about the on-time of a switching element of the DC-DC converter to the primary-side digital control circuit. On the basis of this data, the primary-side digital control circuit controls the on-time of the switching element.

This invention discloses a new MOSFET device. The MOSFET device has an improved operation characteristic achieved by manufacturing a MOSFET with a higher gate work function by implementing a P-doped gate in an N-MOSFET device. The P-type gate increases the threshold voltage and shifts the C-Vds characteristics. The reduced Cgd thus achieves the purpose of suppressing the shoot through and resolve the difficulties discussed above. Unlike the conventional techniques, the reduction of the capacitance Cgd is achieved without requiring complicated fabrication processes and control of the recess electrode.

The present invention relates to a vehicle control device that can display various pieces of image information associated with a state of a vehicle, and a control method for the device. The vehicle control device comprises: a single touch screen; and a single control unit, which includes at least two different operating system programs which independently operate, and controls each of the operating system programs to display image information on the single touch screen, wherein the control unit controls the touch screen to enable at least one of the operating system programs to display image information on the touch screen, according to at least one of operation states of the operating system programs and the state of the vehicle.
