The invention discloses a polycarbonate composition and a preparation method. The composition comprises polycarbonate and melanin, or polycarbonate, melanin and an antioxidant, wherein based on 100 parts by weight of the polycarbonate, the melanin is 0.05-10 parts by weight and the antioxidant is 0.01-1 part by weight, and the melanin is selected from a group which consists of naturally extracted melanin, and melanoid prepared by chemical synthesis and a biological fermentation method.
